Earthcrawl’s boss is the worst one for me so far, with Dread Pit being in 2nd place. Earthcrawl I just can’t deal with all the casts, and Dread Pit it’s me not being good enough at (as the kids would say) pumping before I eventually get worn down by the swarm channels.

Should be around as hard as mythic 5s by yourself which it basically is.
It’s not impossible but you definitely want to be careful.

If they dropped the actual crests for it on a reasonable pace, sure.
I got 2 runed crests from 8 runs. Even if I got 16 crests from all runs, that’s a 3 item level upgrade per week.
It would take many seasons to finally finish gearing, assuming RNG did not messed me up with repeated slots.

It’s not at all supposed to be as hard as any M+ dungeon at all. This is NOT meant for those types of players otherwise they’d obviously just do that. It’d be stupid to be a M+ player not to be pushing up to +10 and doing Delves instead.
You can earn tons of crests doing M+ to also make much better crafted gear as well than anything Delves will give you (ilevel 626).
Delves are vastly inferior compared to M+ and Heroic/Mythic raiding as the rewards will be meh in comparison. I mean you get trash Normal raid loot from it, and maybe rarely heroic raid loot from maps. And 3 choices of heroic raid loot per week, which was what M0 was giving.
Tier 1 to 8 again is meant for a more laid back world progression focused type player that maybe doesn’t want to raid/M+ much if at all. It could be a stepping stone to get into raiding/M+ but it’ll be much slower for most people.

On the subject of runed crests…do you have to do bountiful delves for those? I assume so, but I notice they’re in the small chests rather than the large one that needs a key to open.
Considering I only got them once, no idea.
dude tanking and hybrid healing classes arent having problems and even if you did on ret you can certainly go prot and have it much easier. For some other classes lets say an evoker or a priest its a nightmare.
yeah I am not blaming the people who did it at all, I mean most of us didn’t know the numbers were so bad until they got posted on twitter. But now anyone trying to “catch up,” is going to be struggling.
I got a few 8 done so my vault and gear are pretty cool on my main from Delves, but for weekend players I feel for them.

Yes. But they patched it sometime early in the week and capped it at 2 per week.
At this rate, we will be able to upgrade 9 items, exactly once each, by 2026. 2026, not 2025.
Should Not even have groups. It was meant as close intent for solo play.

What i don’t understand is why fix the group thing now when i am sure they were made aware of the problem in alpha or beta ?

Delves WERE fun. Not much anymore. Solo gameplay as an option. Not its get a group gameplay.
I don’t know why Blizzard would even care about players who had L36 Brann 2 days after Brann was reset and who added delves as a drive-through for “the meta” when someone discovered the scaling was broken for groups. Just ignore that crap and focus on the 99% of remaining customers.
Blizzard is turning people who exploited Blizzard’s tuning errors into winners and everyone else into victims. Not once, not twice, but over and over again.

I don’t think that’s true, since I personally got 8 of them today. Two loots of 2x and one loot of 4x. In hindsight I probably should have been paying better attention as to where that 4 came from, as I had one map chest as well and it may have come from there but I’m not sure.
The original mage tower during Legion was intended to be done by elite players at first, and then by most as they overgeared it. When they brought it back, the opposite was true. Players who had subscribed to do it found the difficulty had been increased from what it was on the PTR. Unannounced last minute changes. Blizzard is into that.
I’ve done 10 Bountiful Delves this week on 8+. I have all the lootable chests in every single one except one in the rafters of Spiral of Weaves. I have exactly 2 Runed Crests. I have found zero Delver’s Bounties in this time.

You can do any Tier 8 Delve and Zekvir has a chance to spawn in them if you want to farm these. Towelliee on his stream said something about a limit of 3/4 per week. Also, I know this cause I had Zekvir pop up in a normal Tier 8 and got the map.
Brann really does need to do more damage. Maybe not as much as he was but they really really overcompensated with this nerf. He tickles enemies now while I do all the work.
