for needlessly gutting frost mage and making it worthless (against everything except a warrior in a 1v1), I can focus more on pve now.
The people responsible for pvp tuning should all get fired. AI would do a significantly better job.

Absolutely wild opinion.
Given the control it has this is completely impossible.
I’m going to go ahead and guess this is overwhelming exaggeration and top mages will still perform when it isn’t completely broken.

Nice one Blizz I tried playing a shuffle on my frost mage and cant kill anything jumping around spamming ice lance. This is so stupid i friggin hate you.

Fmage, Afflock, and mm hunter are still exponentially over tuned
Leveling my dh and did a skirm where one ray of frost took 75% of my health @ level 78 with 20% versa.
Im sure at 80 mages are balanced rn; havent played my other characters since reset.

Frostfire had one of the lowest skill floor and probably like the top 3 skill caps. There is no coincidence people like Raiku have so many bcons playing frost mage as rmp.
Built different same as people like Hansol, Aeghis, Rosita, even Xaryu when he played retail. They use that kit beyond its potential and invent ways of using no one else has before them. Enough glazing but I respect the pioneers.
Then you have a caster like spriest and ppl will praise you but the reality is you’re only good as your partners allow you to be, that’s not the case with mage. You can shine on your own and truly experience pvp from caster PoV.
Yeah being rooted to beyond DR and eating ice lances for 700k’s week one makes me not give a *$^($^ for this class which has an S tier spec every patch for the past 20 years.

I swear there are still people crying that fury warrior is busted.
Though i find the balancing process in general to be weird. What was oppressive about frost mage wasn’t exactly it’s damage ( after the first nerfs) but the rng chain novas and frostbites, yet these are still there but frost got another round of damage nerfs.
It’s highly likely that the classes that struggled vs frost’s kit will remain but the spec itself might no longer have the damage to function vs anything else, so instead of balancing specs to remain viable without being op blizz opts to force a spec out of the meta completely.
The same can be said about most of the changes and lackthereof, how can we not label whoever is making these changes anything but competent.
Why does plate wearing specs attract the most delusional humans that play this game.
