The hotfixes don’t go out till the 26th.
priest was in the middle of the map for literally no reason that was awful positioning
warlock didn’t howl coil kick anything
the priest didn’t chastise health stone gs ray
like ya i assume it rngd good luck with how many star surge animations i saw and it’s a really stupid ability but this team did nothing right and played in bad spots with 2.5+ seconds to react with 1 of 9 buttons that would have covered for unaware positioning
it’s not really fair cause these are only 2100 players that just played the game wrong and that’s fine

Man ive had 1200 locks kick my convoke instantly, how are these people at 2100.

The nerf wouldn’t have changed that clip at all.

Something tells me this 20% WoG nerf isnt going to stop Paladins 50ilvls lower than myself, from destroying me all the same.
Maybe if i was buffed in conjunction with a WoG nerf…
But, alas, looks like this class isnt going to be viable at any point this season.
Rets can still use prot lego, monks are untouched.

I think they should have nerfed Healing Hands instead of WoG. That’s the talent choice that can make WoG heal like lay on hands.

according to https://www.pvpleaderboard.com/pvp/paladin/retribution 93.5% of rets are taking that talent choice.
Healing hands got stealth nerfed kinda early into the expansion, its only 70% in arenas/bgs. Still overpowered though.

convoke is stupid but the game hasn’t allowed you to punish completely unaware players like that for so long
Had something similar happen to me. We saw convoke my priest fades and lines, I was about 35-40 yards away next to the other pillar. I thought to myself should I move closer to coil or just port and in that time I was thinking that,(convoke was at the last second of it channel btw) the boomy, without even targeting me hit me with a 24k full moon and 15k starsurge in .6 seconds according to death logs and I died from 80%. The boomy wasn’t even targeting me.
Don’t think it was posted anywhere it just kinda happened one day. I’m not sure when though but I think it was early.

Punishing completely unaware players by also being completely unaware is worse. Let them get punished but not if the moonkin has 0 idea hes even doing it.
im 1500 and convoke is insta kick every time ive ever seen it lol
imagine thinking that the nerfs being applied this coming reset are enough. Blizzard legit just looked at 2sec clips from arenas and nerfed based on what they saw. Step into an arena and die to 2 starsurges instead of a full moon. Obviously the problem with ret is their healing only, who cares about getting hit for 30k with a temp verdict/wake of ashes combo. Monks are cool aswell, they dont need to be fixed either (they must play monks)
Meanwhile they nerf sub rogues who have to work like thrice as hard for a kill than any given paladin.
