Thanks for ignoring our feedback on the 50% xp boost and removing it for no reason

Made the decision to unsubscribe that much easier. Work was really busy this past month and had zero time to enjoy the 50% xp boost that we kindly asked to last til Dragonflight. Since they didn’t care for what I had to say, I also don’t care to stay subscribed.

They gave a reason, you just didn’t like it.

Have fun in your future adventures away from WoW.

They didn’t ignore feedback, and they explained their reasoning. See you in 10.0.

Oh please. We all knew that was for a limited time. Leveling is superfast as it is in retail WOW and it doesn’t take long to level at all. If you’re going to throw a tantrum over that then don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

i think the 50% xp boost was a mistake anyways.

you start doing these things ppl are always gonna want more and it sets a weird precedent.

And the Soar nerf.

And the Slime Cat.

Blizzard has no intentions of actually changing for the better. We should all be moving on by now. How many times can we go through such an abusive cycle?

How is any of that abusive lol

Because for the better part of basically 3 expansions they have claimed “we’re listening guys, we’re gonna change this” only to put most of the changes into a goodwill basket to avoid scandalous problems that they create all on their own.

All it takes is listening the first time or even just a basic apology for messing up. But we can’t have that much, can we? It’s abusive because we’ve heard it all before “we’re listening” only for them to actually just do the complete opposite of listening.

“Listening” does not require them to act on the information that is being given.

If your getting this bent over something as insignificant as a 50% xp buff, you should definitely unsub.

There’s no we.

OP sounds like you wanted to quit already and this did it for you. Good work on doing it!

If blizzard implemented every thing all these armchair developers have suggested over the years, this game would have died long ago.

Want an example? Ion listened to all the no flying players and attempted to implement it in WoD, it nearly killed the game.

I wish you luck in quitting! It’s not easy to do.

Leveling taking 12 hours instead of 9 is so rough. I completely understand.

They just dont care at all about their players.

Its an awful way to run a business but im sure they will find that out once we all leave for good.

I think they’ll probably bring it back a month or two before Dragonflight comes out, just like they’re doing with WotLK Classic, so maybe November at the earliest

“If we remove the xp boost at the start of Season 4, the casuals who have nothing to do will have no option but to start raiding.”

There aren’t a lot of anti-flying players; it’s mostly the dev team that thinks adding flying to the game was a mistake, and Blizzard’s decision to undo what they did in WoD was because of player feedback

No flyers were always a limited chunk of the pvp community that gets off on open world ganking. But blizzard not listening to the community the last 2 expansions DID hurt the game a lot. There’s a reason they’re trying a lot harder to listen now, because SL having this hard stance of bs took a nosedive in the population department.

Soar/slime cat are fairly minor things. It’s still proof that the awful, Blizzard knows best mindset still exists. But realistically neither of these things matter much. And the XP has already been addressed, being buffed in Dragonflight. The buff we just had was very clearly time limited.

There is no proof they listened either.
