Thank You For Your Reports

The few times I’ve seen that guy on Tv he looks like the only thing he could be a manager of is a small canteen on the other side of the beach…

I still can’t wrap my head around that he earns enough money to have a spa full of top models every Friday night. (Who knows how he actually spends it tho)

How specific do we have to be with out reports? If typing “botting” in the report is sufficient for a successful investigation, a report botting button would be a nice improvement.

I bet he spends it on microwave burritos and hot pockets

Wonderful news that you guys are communicating. Please continue to communicate more. Also, I would love to be able to transfer my alts to my main characters realm. My main is in a locked server and I can’t transfer any alts. Surely there is an easy solution that can be implemented quickly such as allowing transfers to locked servers if you already have at least one max lvl character on a locked server.

We get pLeAsE cOnTiNuE tO rEpOrT

What a joke

This thread is a perfect example of why blues just shouldnt have any dialogue with us. Ungrateful toxic community lol

More needs to be done “Please Continue to report them” lol. Why so there’s a chance they get banned 6-8 months later?.. Fix the ban wave speed and make a category on reports “Botting”

Exactly. In typical Blizzard fashion, they always wait until the damage is completely irreparable before they take any serious action, and then at that point the effort wasn’t worth it.

I have seen some of the same bots from 6 months ago. And what about the hundreds of them in dungeons? Why is there no anticheat/anti hacking? I see mages flying around in boosting groups 24/7 in dungeons

Mmm hmmm, except when it’s multiboxing bots.

Nothing stopping bots from getting authenticators.

Should probably stop asking for this or it will be the only thing you get. Real action against bots would be better.

So much this.

A huge source of bots is compromised accounts. People who quit the game and leave the accounts open can be hijacked if they do not use authentictaors.

Thats like saying playing a single character is not against the TOS except when that character is a bot, I’m not quite sure what point you’re trying to make. Single character, or multiboxing multiple characters, if they are botting it is bannable.

Wouldn’t it be nice if Blizzard got off Chinas swollen teet and actually banned these bots instead of just talking about it. You’re allowing them to siphon money from essentially every nation at this point.

Very nice , I will keep on doing so , I know a few of them in Azshara naga beach .

You kept a straight face typing that? Amazing.

BTW right-click reporting is still disabled, that is, it doesn’t get stored on the server. It just shadowignores the person from your chat until you relog.

The reports don’t seem to do much because I found 4 horde hunters botting in Felwood on Faerlina right next to each other. I reported all of them in the morning, came back that evening and they were still botting. I killed them a few times but then they would get 60s over to protect them. Either that or their tickets are really backed up.

Lock all servers to people who’s IP is outside that region. Make them play in their own region. That’ll tell you who’s responsible for most of the botting

This is a horrible solution, would completely destroy guilds such as mine. Many people in my guild are overseas in the navy, etc.

All that needs to be done is for 1 person at blizzard to be actively banning people.

Accelerating from a rate of what? One to two bans per day?

InCrEaSe Of 100%!

Not hard to send a GM to Westfall coastline and catch atleast 15 bots farming crabs…
