Thank You for the Swift Shorestrider

I honestly haven’t been there in years, i spent somewhere in the vicinity 3 million gold on BMAH containers through MoP when they were like 20-50k a pop on my server, but now they’re selling for 500k+, it’s madness lol

They should just raise the gold cap so that people can’t insta-win with 10M bids as soon as the items spawn.

So far as the BMAH being useless in the TCG context just isn’t true though, look at the few TCG mounts that do spawn on the BMAH, they always make their way to the normal AH and they sell for very reasonable prices, i think that would be ideal, the whales could battle it out for the first few times any given mount spawns, but after that they’d eventually settle down in price and pop up on the AH again, Blizz could boost the spawn rates to manipulate the prices if need be.

I unironically kind of like the Shorestrider/Hornstrider mounts, they’re such compact fellas that running around on them has a good speedfeel. It’s that effect where a smaller object will look faster than a larger object even if they’re going the same speed.

I wish they would do upgraded racial mounts :pensive:

looks like me on a monday morning heading to work

I love the illusion of extra speed! Even if there’s no real speed boost, the feeling of it is just way better when I’m rolling around on a Tauren :0

Why do you feel that other people acquiring things means yours matters less? You still acquired it waaaay back when- back when it meant something. Do you need others to feel your own sense of accomplishment? Sorry to sound combative, but text is text.

This is the normal reaction to have. Then you have the sad-sacks whose entire indentity in relation to the game was based on what others couldn’t have. Tough day for them.

Same thing happens but in real life, with money.

Money that doesn’t go towards helping anyone, but yourself, building a genitalia-shaped rocket, or an ill-fated submarine trip. Live in a mansion, drive a ferrari.

Luxuries.

These are things most people will never do.

Humans gonna human, no matter where, inside a game is no different.

People want what others don’t have, and that’s gonna be true till humanity turns to dust.

Even in a game, I honestly don’t see what’s wrong with it. Everyone has fulfillment in different ways.

Besides, most of this is by Blizzard’s own design. They add FOMO stuff to the game to drive numbers, and bringing them back for the exact same reason.

Just look at the brutosaur.

Also, sidenote, I don’t have Twitch Prime, so I don’t get that ‘rare’ TGC thing, not that I care, because it’s a promo item given out for free, not something you actually work to get.

It’s nice, but not fulfilling content.

And thank you OP for letting us know. I too, now have this item.

Was super fast, easy, and instant. LET’S GOOO!

Not at all, I’m all for things to be returned to the game, i just hope that wherever possible they come back in a way that allows people to earn them in a similar way, like a formerly removed gold sink mount should come back as a gold sink mount (adjusted for inflation), a reward for an old solo challenge should come back as a reward for a new solo challenge or perhaps a scaled up version of the old challenge (you get the point).

I just have no love for the whole Twitch situation, we’re basically being sold off, we the players are the commodity in the transaction between Blizzard and Twitch, we go for the carrot and sign up to Twitch, sign away our info/data and participate in temporarily inflating their viewership data. Make no mistake, it has very little to do with wanting to give us a long lost reward for being good customers lol

I’ll always be on the side of things coming back to the game, i just want to see it happen in gameplay positive ways, not in ways where we’re being used as a commodity.

I really hope they do tabard of arcane next I’ll cry
