EDIT THE BUFF HAS BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL SHADOWLANDS IM SO HAPPY!!!
THANK YOU FOR REASONING WITH US BLIZZ, WE LOVE YOU!
Why Blizzard, WHY AGAIN DO YOU DO THINGS LIKE THIS?
We as a community were loving every moment of it. It’s gonna be the same identical xp gain rate as Shadowlands so WHY RESTRICT US from having this fun now?
Nobody wants the reputation buff, we’re already exalted on everything.
Please Blizzard, extend the winds of wisdom!

I have a late-developed Horde earning Volduun rep for a Vulpera. I had intended to pretty much ignore the other reps, as I had no real desire to slog through them.
But now, it’s not going to be a slog-- at most a muddy wade. I’m happy for them changing this up. Besides, extra reputation = extra chests from extra reputation = extra gold and resources and Ap where it’s needed. I’m fine with this. I had a month to do the alt leveling thing, there’s no-one to blame but myself if I haven’t.

I want the rep buff. I’m trying to get pathfinder in Legion on this account and I’ve got a lot of professions to get recipes for in BfA.

You know blizz didn’t have to do this in the first place right? Like it was a gift they gave to the community to comfort people due to the Covid-19 pandemic and encourage them to stay home right?

Generally I agree with this sentiment but there was an optimism a month ago about…certain things… that we now know are not ready to end soon.
People are going to remain in quarantine a while yet, I see no reason to drop the exp boost. Giving us both the rep and the exp boost would be super useful for unlocking and leveling Allied Races in time for Shadowlands.

Well, not all of us had that luxury. Essential workers did not have this luxury. Some of us caring for family members with Covid didn’t have this luxury. So extending the XP buff is preferential in my case, and the rep is useless to me since I have no want or need to grind any reputation at this point in an xpac that I’ve been playing since day one.

Yes, it was given for a month. But did you ever think about those who didn’t get the opportunity to be able to participate? Essential workers, those caring for and/or mourning family members with Covid? Apparently you need to take off those rose colored glasses. Not everyone has had the fun times of being able to sit and home and play a game for the past month.

Don’t feel bad for them. They’re where this problem starts.

Heirlooms give you 10% per piece xp buff! Jeezum crow, just be happy that Blizz is doing all of this extra to help us out during these times!
Yep…I’ve been working 60 hr weeks since this thing began. The XP buff was nice for the couple hrs I’ve had on my weekends. I wish it would continue.

I want the rep buff, I’m about ready to jump off a bridge trying to get revered with Champions. Maybe they’ll alternate every month.
There is an old Blizz saying.
“Fun Detected”.

I feel your pain, and yes it would have been nice to have that XP boost continue.

I’ll miss the xp buff, it’s been fun leveling some mid level alts to high level a wee bit easier, especially that 60-80 painful range.
I guess I’ll use the rep buff for the 8.3 stuff, I’ve kind of dropped off playing those zones since the xp buff came out and I focused on alts.
I’m playing either way.
Edit: Confirming I am now aware the rep buff isn’t for the 8.3 zones, I hadn’t seen the announcement before someone told me. Dang.
Still gonna level my alts regardless.
I don’t want to be the one to break it to him.
