Thank God Blizzard doesn't listen to this Community

The dance studio was a feature they either didn’t finish or planned for but never got around to.

This is a feature they intentionally removed due to design confliction. Completely different situation.

Lovin’ all that proof.

Let me guess, you’ve got a Will-E YouTube poll cocked and ready to blast, right?

Blizzard didn’t remove flight or RDF due specifically to a “vocal minority” of players.

Both decisions were made due to inherent design aspirations.

To be quite frank, flying is still gated in the modern game until a bit of ways in to the expansion or until you’ve done most things on foot to begin with. They just found a middle-ground.

Well it’s your call.

And they can, and likely will, change their mind mid-Wrath when they, “listen to the community”.

We’ll see when Wrath launches.

They used an unpopular but vocal opinion to cut corners, and then tried to make it work. Due to the heavy backlash (and we’ll likely see the same with no LFD), they made a, “compromise” that upset a lot of players - instead of just putting flight back in normally.

Is Classic your first Blizzard game?

You know what else killed the communities in retail? Server transfers. You know what’s already destroyed the majority of server communities in classic? Server transfers. The limbs are already amputated, putting a bandage on the remains does nothing beneficial now.

This happened today.

If they’re thinking of adding it back, they’re sure going about it in an interesting way.

Just remember that you’re talking to a person who has conveniently positioned themselves as neutral in this. That way when it does get reverted they can just play it off that it never really mattered to them in the first place. Its quite the cowardly tactic.

True. But is can be the answer lol. Some IT tests are weird for this.

Your case its HIPAA. where for magical reasons…you transmission is secure because you used a cover letter. That cover letter has to be there. Now its…secure. hahahahahaha,

I know they are old as hell. I also worked comm in the marines. you are always nice to what we called wire dogs. Telephone and wire platoon people. They patch into the phone line junctions with a simple butt set (what its called for real)…free phone calls when working with commercial lines in the mission/training area.

and intercepted calls… My buddy had to work on lines. He heard some juicy “private” calls home. On accident. wasn’t even snooping. the junction handled may lines…you just hear things.

that is how secure POTS lines are lol. YOU jsut nod your head…select answer say C…and move on.

Brian is a terrible dev.

Way its going…the evil vile not authentic pservers will be more authentic than the officially released server lol.

Why I kind of want that idea he has of no racials in at least arean to happen.

its at that point you have no choice but to respect a warmane horde pvp player more than wrath official blizzard one.

the pserver horde player…gets wins. with EMFH in place.

Alright well he’s your lead dev, regardless of your opinion.

Yeah. Blizzard likes to elevate the worst people for the job. The more out of touch and arrogant, the better.

Well…OK.

I’m sure Brian is super motivated to get RDF re-implemented when all anyone who wants it back can bring themselves to say is that he’s an incompetent, arrogant, out-of-touch person.

The fact he’s solely listening to a vocal minority of players and isn’t addressing the concerns of the many players that want LFD is telling.

You keep saying this.

There is no evidence that they removed RDF solely because a “vocal minority” magically convinced him so.

Didn’t they do a 180 on the dual spec changes?

They didn’t announce any dual spec changes.

They said they were considering limits on dual specs use, but they decided not to.

They can’t monetize dual spec. But removing Dungeon Finder gets more players buying boosts and transferring to mega servers. So that’s the difference.

Well it certainly wasn’t because of the current state of Classic. If anything, we need LFD earlier than historically.

The answer is obvious: they made that decision because to them it seemed like the right choice based on the feedback they saw.

That’s why they said they were confident with the decision.

If you want to make a good argument for why RDF should return you’ll need more than insulting the lead dev’s integrity and tin-foil hat conspiracies, probably.

Yeah, that’s the PR spin they gave. That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the whole story or the largest motivation. Especially since it’s contradictory to the current state of Classic, with the problem of mega servers, dead servers, and people selling/reserving runs.

Classic as it is now is a good argument for why LFD should be in Wrath.

I’d rather he not, since Elon Musk is arrogant, egotistical, and full of it.

The question is, though, where did they get this feedback? I mean, Holly stated it as a matter of fact, while Brian tweeted out later that he was surprised by the amount of pushback, and that they are looking for feedback. If they already HAD the feedback to validate Holly’s announcement, what feedback was Brian looking for?
