Resilience-style PvP has no place in a Classic-based version of WoW known for bursty PvP.

You want the former? Go play Cata where your taste will be properly catered to instead of pushing for a poor imitation in Classic SoD.

Bloodmoon event feels bad now, 70-60 dps in details (+enemies healing), was 200 before aura, now kill ppl takes forever and getting silver coins are pretty hard now.

It was more fun when the skill was a straight line, now itā€™s a gaussian bell

its the worst its been since P1, at least for group. the only people I know who enjoy it are not very good at PvP. well, them and enh shams because they are literal one man armies in this ā€œmetaā€.

Everyone that thinks its bad, you guys are the terrible pvpā€™rs that complain non stop on these forums.

You donā€™t cc
you donā€™t dispel
You conā€™t peel healers
You donā€™t use your kit or even know what is in your pvp kit as a class.

Lets go back to smashing 1 button and people dying instantly

All those things you cited are important without damage reduction just as it was in Classic where PvP has always been bursty.

All this damage reduction does is make certain classes/specs OP and allow PvE healbots to facetank 2+ DPS without consequence to the detriment of everyone else.

Do you even know what to peel healers even means? Itā€™s important for supporting them without the damage reduction whereas it is completely unnecessary with it.

Besides, the stamina buff + players learning to gear properly already steadied the pace of PvP bouts compared with P2 where people ran around in glass cannon gear.

Iā€™m a healer. I could close my eyes and nothing dies with this reduction.

I prefer no damage reduction where skilled players like you claim boomkins are low tier in PvP. I think I also saw you complaining about enh being weak.

Then youā€™re in rando bgs with full on potatoes and the dmg reduction doesnā€™t even matter there.

Skilled pvpā€™rs are enjoying the changes.
bad pvpā€™rs are not

You can literally see it on these forums.

In the discoords all the pvpā€™rs are loving the changes.
On the forums where all the bad pvpā€™rs lurk are hating the changes.

Its so clear its comical

What they need to do now is Buff mana for classes like druids, shamans, mages. A couple of adjustments to cost of spells definitely need to be made and I was saying this before the pvp change.

my dude, what youre describing is just about everyone in sod. the actual rank 1 equiv players only wargame. if youā€™re scoring kills in any decent timeframe i can promise you those are low tier healers.

i have no complaints about my class or any other class. i dont have a list of ā€œfix this and pvp will be fineā€ because pvp was fine. the overall pace of pvp is actually dogšŸ’© right now. feels worse than p1. feels worse than 19 twinking. i hope when they revisit dmg they take it down to 15%.

Ok blizzard you did it.
Its horrible now, you legit skyrocketed hybrids and healers changing from a bursty meta to BFA levels of slowliness pvp.
Its legit GLACIAL pvp now, hell i swear FFXIV can beat this, used to gain 14 to 20 coins in bloodmoon now at best 12 cause of how people just dont die.

Trash change. 50% resilience? who tf came up with that. Iā€™m not even sure if in any expansion of WoW was 50% resilience even achievable! yet they decided on that value? Its obvious whoever is in charge here has never pvpā€™ed in wow

Any druid FC now is literally unkillable with heal dot runes btw,
jump exploits and unkillable heals, peak pvp experience.

if i recall 30%ish was the highest ever and it came at a huge cost.

If you played bfa last patch and managed to get all the resilience corruptions you could achieve 49% less damage taken with versatility.

Somehow people in sod though that implementing this data, from a patch that nearly killed the game and was ironically saved by classic launch was a good and smart idea.

great change, as a paladin healer i feel useful in pvp again counter to before when people die before my holy light could land, if you do end up removing the damage reduction you should buff healing and remove all forms of cc and interrupts or make healers immune to them in pvp, nothing felt worse then getting counter spelled and seeing your entire teem gets wiped in 8 sec while you cant do anything.
