Healers are far too powerful with this blanket damage reduction, if this is desired direction, they need a good, 20-30% healing output reduction in PvP Iād suggest.

Yes, it makes MS effects and mana burn / viper sting more useful, as it does cc, but itās too far off the tipping point.
Scale it back from the 50% reduction (so it seems?) you put in place. 20-30% is more than enough with the health pools.
These morons didnt even get rid of the STV stamina buff, so it ruined the event. Nobody is dying.
you are insane. did you see how bad the ENTIRE phase-2 was for healers? even p3 is a zug fest. healers being optimal in pvp ESPEICALLY GROUP PLAY is completely okay. if youre losing bc the enemy team has 2-3 healers and your team has 0 then it looks like you and some others gotta reroll.
i legit stopped healing in pvp bc how trash healers are even priest. which is why i go shadow and rekt havoc

Damage reduction changes are good, a reduction in healing also would make this change good.
Shouldnāt even need to adjust PvE v.s. PvP differentiations! What happened to proper math? How can a billion dollar company fail to scale spells and gear statistics appropriately on a 20 year old game.

I think its quite clear that the modern classic teams goodwill from the community is only there because the community is still in love with the work produced by the original devs.
P3 was a pretty big revelation about how competent this team is at creating unique content. Does not bode well for the future.

The only thing blanket damage reduction does in the current state of the game is make classes which are ALREADY performing well in PvP (Boomkins, SPās, Shamans, Locks) even more oppressive.
This is a bandaid solution, and I understand the team is small and has Cata + Phase 4 on their plate (both of which I hope go well) but I can promise you that everyone who enjoys PvP and is NOT playing one of the above listed would much rather play a bursty game opposed to DoT/Hybrid classes being the meta for world PvP and whoever has more healers, wins in BGs meta.
Whatever % value youāre running now, cut it in half and lets see how that feels because this is already a dumpster fire
