That touches on another problem.
I think that was more game mechanics issue. Like they should introduce more for S.priests instead of boosting dmg.
Because what happened, esp with the PvP inflated HP pools is classes that couldn’t heal couldn’t eat high enough food to overcome the dots so they just flop dead eventually without a healer.
But then if they don’t boost your damage then classes that can heal would always beat you cuz they can easily outheal slow dmg
i only got to play 2 bgs and I was with a ranged group so the melee were still struggin, saw an enemy rogue doing very well at mines getting back caps and ganking people but overall the group pvp just feels better.
Yeah it is. if your a squishy and I crit you on my hunter your dead. If you aren’t a tank or a paladin you are dead in a cheap to my rogue. If you crit people die. War pops reck and can global 5 people with whirlwind sweeping strikes. Warlock gets a shad bolt imo conflag combo with 2 crits? dead. Fire mage gets a fire ball off? dead. Ele mastery chain + es combo? oh yeah dead. Vanilla is all about burst it always has been never had resil should never have resil
A meta where healers are unkillable is boaring and its called retail wow. All the people that cry are just bad at the game and have bad positioning the healers think they should be able to stand still and not die to damage. Any class that has no heals is disadvantaged with a damage reduction and no heal reduction. Me and my friends 3v7 all the time how is it possible if everyone is capable of doing so much damage? How can our healer sustain us? oh yeah we play better that’s how.
If its so bad add more stam to pvp gear the gap between pvp gear and pve gear is not far and the people complaining that don’t wanna farm the pvp gear oh well shoulda played pve.
rogues seem to have the best sustained dps across any class atm, so i think they are one of the better if not best pure dps after these changes
this is mostly entirely due to their dmg profile from: deadly poison rune (brew), wound poison effect, and mutilate damage
warriors damage is pretty average in pvp (which is too low across to board, unless healing nerfs come)
however their mortal strike is almost mandatory to kill some healers so, they benefit from this patch. in comparison to before, i would say they are more welcome in this meta if they bring MS. Fury is just bad.
i believe they should reduce healing output by 30-50% as well, dont give bonus hp in bgs, and test to see how that feels. If healers oom too quick after change maybe reduce mana costs but dont increase throughput.
you kind of need a balance of hps and dps in pvp and right now hps is too high. dps is not necessarily too low. if that makes sense
So here’s my questions… it’s getting close to game time and I planned on starting BM on my Hunter. Should I do that, or just concentrate on my Druid pushing to 50 until this ironed out?
