"Test Your Strength" Not Progressing

On one of my alts (CosmicJuste-WyrmrestAccord) I am not getting any progress on the DMF quest Test Your Strength. I am getting XP for kills of mobs at my same level, so they should qualify. Things I have tried:

  • Dropped and reacquired quest
  • Full UI reset

Other points:

  • I was doing Khaz Algar quests when I started noticing the issue
  • He was able to do all the DMF profession quests and game booth dailies.
  • Any other characters I’ve tried on do receive progress.

Any ideas or something dumb I’m missing before I go put in a bug report?

Only thing that immediately comes to mind is you may be in a raid group, even if it doesn’t show.

Do you have your Darkmoon Adventures Guide on your bags? It won’t work if it’s in the bank.

You can actually get these in a raid group. I’ve gotten em from LFR.

I’m not in a raid or group. And I have not been given the guide when picking up the quest. Even after abandoning it. Also double checked, it’s not in the characters bank or warband bank.
