I think the servers have higher numbers on them, people are more experienced, and there are many more people farming (when I compare my time in original TBC). Blizz needs to shorten the spawn timer and increase the number of nodes of all herbs and mines to give every one a chance. When I am on a bird going over hellfire - just about never see herbs.
It sounds like youâre looking for a single player game where you are not inconvenienced. There will always be competition for spawns. If there are herbs on the market that means there is extra herbs to gather in the world. If they are a more diligent farmer than you they will reap the rewards.

There is actually 5 spots terocone can spawn in shadowmoon.

The 2 villages of the skettis birds in shadowmoon.

By the tree right across from the one village

2 spawn locations right at the border of terrorkar by the trees.
Oh and u can skin the big creatures or whatever they are in ssc now.
So 1 zone 5 spawn points in shadowmoon. The elite tree ragers in sketis, 1 spawn in Botanica and now ssc.
Also my suggestion is do a lap of terrokar. Go to smv farm there then go back to terrokar. Farm over a couple days donât try to get a stack in a day. Ive been doing this and have 3 stacks saved up.
It sounds like you donât know what youâre talking about. No one but you is talking about being inconvenienced. Thereâs a huge difference between being inconvenienced and not being able to do something.
Tell me, what do you NOT understand about ordering a pizza that will feed five people yet you have a hundred people fighting over a piece? Thatâs beyond competition, itâs just stupid. Blizzard increased server pops by the thousands, yet left herb spawns the same. I really donât understand why you excuse this oversight.
If you honestly think this game was designed for players to camp an herb spawn 24/7, you really have no idea what youâre talking about.

First of all, good luck tagging a tree. Secondly, good luck with rng getting a terocone. If youâre planning on farming trees youâd better have your entire day free so you can fight over a few mobs that may or may not give you terocone.
And lastly, there are no super secret farming spots. Everyone knows where every single herb is. Everyone laps around Terrokar. Everyone flies over the bird people in SM.
There simply arenât enough herbs for the population. Itâs MATH.

I never said there was enough I was pointing out the spawn points. I would never waste my time on the ragers because I farm every morning from 4 am to about 530.
I do exactly what I said in my post I do a lap of terrokar and smv and move on to other zones. Sometimes I get 10 terocone sometimes I get 0. Currently as of right now from my farming this week I have 61 terocone.
I was simply giving suggestions of the locations and other ways to get it and giving a suggestion on how to farm it.
Take it or leave it.
Also u forgot to mention the spawn points at the border of terrokar in smv.

I understand your logic but you just canât say things like that and expect them to hold true for everyone. I am on a low/medium pop server and it is pretty hard to farm Terocone and Tero goes for about 3.5 - 4g and MT goes regularly for 14g. People literally sit unmounted on the MT nodes and just wait for them to spawn. I canât imagine the prices or the competition for herbing vs 1, 2, 3 or 4 thousand more people on my server like other people are having to deal with.
I get the idea about competition because at some point you must cede the moment to others if they are more tenacious. You can go farm something else or do something better with your time BUT on higher pop servers I canât imagine better times to return. It isnât reasonable to expect people to set alarms to wake up in the middle of the night so they can TRY and farm MT or Terocone.
They should definitely do something about this but will they?

There are usually more ghetto alternatives that are good enough. If you want to min max, thatâs your own choosing.

this is how I sort of operate. I can boost SM for 15g/run then go buy my terocone I need.
Hour per hour it works out as if Terocone wasnât farmed into oblivion.
No problems getting them on my server. Some days are better than others but I am able to get quite a few.
Seems like a downside that helps offset the benefits of having a larger population.

wow is in managed decline, it wonât gain new players at this point, the benefit of being a large server is not having to pay to transfer to get off dying servers, thats why something like benedication is attracting everyone
Nonononono, terocone is definitely harder to farm than plaguebloom/mountain Silversage.
In classic i farmed 3-4 stacks of plaguebloom in 2h.
2h farming terocone and i barely have 2 stacks
ff14 professions are way better than wow in any expansion
Splitting hairs on what zone, I get what you mean.
I donât even want a stack. I want 14 a week for my 2 flasks.
I have stocked Haste Potions for months, but the issue remains.
Itâs an hour+ to get even 7, on my realm.

Thatâs actually very very good.
In 2 hours on my server Iâm lucky to get 4-6 of them.
Figured this would be more of an issue with Mana Thistles.

Last week i tried farming and in 40min i got 2 terocone lmao, so i gave up farming that day.
Back in july i would farm for 1h and get 2+ stacks EASY.
