pretty easy to approach $20 on fast food.
I mean, dont get me wrong, you can eat at a pretty decent restaurant for $40, but when I think of fine dining, my thought is that each person is going to be spending like…
$80-100+ on their meal

Their social anxiety won’t let them get jobs, let alone go INTO restaurants! The people with the jobs should pay for their life! It’s only fair in a modern society!
I like it the way it is. I disagree with having real cash involved. But I would like to see them increase the cap.
I would be fine with this. Increase the cap and it would make it easier to get what one wants each month.
Could just pay someone to play the game with your “disposable income”
Exactly! And that way we could all work towards our cosmetics without having to fork over money. I prefer to spend my hard-earned cash on coffee so I could fuel through the game anyways.
That won’t solve the inherent problem with not being able to get everything you’re into each month. But maybe y’alls brains are just bigger than mine.
Pay for multiple accounts and merge them. xd
You don’t share cosmetics, mounts, or titles with merged accounts. Already looked into this since my Vanilla account has unique titles you can’t get anymore and I don’t want to lose them.
I thought mounts were shared? Weird.
According to the admin I spoke to when talking about merging my accounts, no, nothing is shared. One account will lose everything, only the characters will transfer, but none of their achievements/titles/mounts paid for or farmed.
God this is sad.
I feel like this deserves a meme. I mean this is hilarious. Problem is X, address X? No! Instead attack Y for still being there. This is letting a crew of maniacs run around on a ship putting holes in the hull and the captain declaring passengers must man the pumps and pump harder and it is their fault that the ship is sinking if they do not do so. Get a better crew? Get more passengers to man the pumps to lighten the load across them!? No you declare, whip them harder you shriek.
Have they tried creating a product people want? I know it’s an old-school business concept, practically archaic arcane knowledge at this point to many these days. But it used to be people subscribed to this economic system called capitalism and the theory there-of.
And you see this theory while being quite involved does postulate (among other things) the idea that in a market system sellers compete for the monies of buyers. If a seller’s product is failing in a market segment that is thriving the solution is not, well sock it to the buyer to drive them elsewhere faster, it’s improve the product and get more customers from the competitors.
WoW was once the biggest MMORPG in the world. It boasted 14 million subs by the end of Wrath/Cata era. What happened? Well to some degree MMORPG’s aren’t as popular but that shrink happened years ago. WoW has shrunk from a stable and profitable post MMORPG bubble pop population of several million (say 3-4) to perhaps a million now. And they’ve done this through a series of bad decisions blasted by the gaming press and fans as bad and yet they’ve doubled down on them. They made decisions, those were bad and cost them. This is irrational. Irrational behavior should not be encouraged or rewarded.
Rather than make amends, reverse them (they can literally retcon the problem lore, change their systems on a dime to be something players enjoy more), apologize (hard concept for the new generation I know), grovel, admit fault, outline an action plan for fixing it as many companies before them have done. But instead they do this. This is rot, this is doom for the property. The company itself is a large one with multiple properties so it won’t doom them but it dooms the property itself and if you care about the property (the game) you want more than them trying to soak an ever decreasing player population for more money. You want more players, you want more value.
Multiplayer online games are not luxury jewelry or clothing. If you drive away the population from them, everyone, including the top end spenders suffers. You cannot make an enduring profit-base and brand by having such a strategy. It’s simply not a winner.
They are not entitled to a profit for delivering a subpar product. Nor are they entitled to unlimited profit. They are not entitled to do whatever they please IF, IF they wish their product and brand image to survive. They can of course drive the thing off a cliff as they’re doing, they have that freedom though it’s irresponsible to the long-term investors, cruel and back-stabbing to their customers, and overall unwise.
This seems like a necro of a troll, but it has a point.
Nobody cares anymore. They can monetize it. Or not. I don’t know what it would take to get the people still playing to quit. I think its more than this. People will complain for a week and then get over it and complain about something else.
Oops. Necro’d troll post. Reply removed.
