Legion sucked and so do templates and PvP talents. Revert to vendors and giving everyone their baseline abilities instead of having to talent for the same spells we knew for years and years, game is garbage.

Templates literally mean nothing when vendors are introduced. There’s zero need for such bad design when you give people an actual means of gearing outside of RNG drops.
Stop begging for templates when vendors are the superior answer. Everybody can target their needs/wants and gear still matters.

You can cry all you want about legion and templates sucking but vendors are never coming back and this is a million times worse than templates ever were.

It’s almost like this is a forum and expressing what you believe is the best system is the whole point of people writing on them.
No, vendors aren’t coming back is an excuse to keep shoveling refuse to the players. Players should just express what they want instead of settling on another flavor of garbage. If we’re going to revert to a system it might as well be vendors. No ifs, ands,or buts. It’s superior in every way.

The problem is that PvE gear is better than PvP gear, thats all this thread is about tbh. OP wouldn’t want templates if vendors were in the game for example

At this point, I’d take templates. As long as we had some way to alter the stats - haste/crit/mastery etc. I don’t know how they would do this, but something to where I could customize my stats in pvp while maintaining static main stat and health.
If they brought back vendors, and had some way to differentiate pvp/pve gear, i’d be happy with that too. I didn’t mind it so much in BC/WOTLK when there were trade offs for wearing pve gear in pvp - more dmg but less survivability.
This week, i think i finally hit my wall, and am stepping away from wow for a bit. I decided a couple weeks back that i was going to start maining my hunter, and i had to redo all the rep, dailies, dungeons, etc. that I had already done on my warr. After doing this for several days, i finally realized that i basically don’t even pvp anymore, and instead am constantly doing all of the content i do not enjoy because its just a better way of getting gear and catching up.
Being forced into time sucking daily chores in game isn’t what brought me to wow originally. It just feels awful, and i’ve lost my will to log into the game.
it sucks because i enjoy arena, but this feels terrible, and i’m over the daily chores that i have to complete just to get caught up.

Criticism of templates won’t bring vendors back, it’s just something people who enjoy forum posting more than playing the game do because their ideas are as bad as their perspective

Extremely alt friendly and removes pve gear from Pvp.
