Last month someone made a post stating they completed the Tempest Keep attunement quest line and did not receive a key and opened the ticket and got this GM Reponse.
I am posting the link to the other forum post with the GM RESPONSE since I cant post links here yet.
So does this hold true? Any confirmation?
Yes you can get attuned for Tier 5.
Edit: SSC is a buff. Tempest Keep is a key in your keychain or bag. If you don’t see your title then reload the game.
This wasn’t the question. The question is, will the Tempest Keep attunement chain be required to enter Tempest Keep. If you go to the thread I linked there is a blue post stating it will not be required. But other people are saying it will be.
The devs said attunements would be at their initial state. Wouldn’t trust a GM response, most of them don’t even play the game it seems.
Ah my bad. Well, maybe an unpopular opinion, but I hope it is required.

Maybe he means the actual key. Wasn’t there a door, like for Arcatraz? You still need attunement to enter, but there is no longer a door in the doorway.
Low level Gm’s are sometimes wrong, thats why specialists exist. As stated in that thread, there is definitely a key for Tk. Attunements are clearly required

The gm is clearly wrong, considering if what he said was true we would be able to enter Karazhan with no key as well, but that’s not how it works. The key probably isn’t in the game yet and once it opens up you’ll have the key.
I’m attuned as well, but this creates a problem for trying to get other guild members attuned. If they think they dont need to, but they do, then its a messy situation. Confirmation either way would help a lot.
They already confirmed it. Many many many many many times.

As the above said its already been hard confirmed by the devs that outrank a low level gm that your blue post is from that attunments are required. There is no question attunments are required.
Also if your blue post was true I would not have the tempest keep key in my bags today (I do). As when the key requirement was removed so was the key. As such if was planed to not require the key they would not of fixed the questline not giving you the key.
The bug here was the questline not giving the key which was fixed quite early on.
You don’t ask questions that matter to a gm they wont give you the correct answer in almost all cases the fourms and players thoughts is more likely to be accurate. But short of a DEV statement no answer is set. Even than dev statements are subject to change until the moment they are in the game. Even than they can be retconed.
Hell you can just log into the ptr and see the key requirement by using a toon not done the attunement you wont be able to enter unless you use there special npc to teleport to the raid, that bypasses attunes for testing.
Apparently it is for GMs.
Ive told people in my guild they absolutely must be attuned. THere’s no circumstances that someone should be going into P2 without the attunements finished. No part of it is hard when we’re clearing nightbane and mag each week with few hiccoughs.
