1st time I have had to open a ticket in a while . I’ve been playing off and on since like 2005 or so… Well, I remember putting in tickets and getting responses in game from GM’s or emails…
I have had some trouble with the game crashing EVERY TIME i pull up transmog or if there is a cinematic in the storyline, my game will crash & struggle to open back up unless I restart my PC… Disabled all addons and everything no luck.
NO error, screen goes black & then flashes white & then I just get the “World of warcraft is not responding end now?”
Each time you go to re open through battle net, it will just do the same thing. Screen goes black and maybe will flash white but it will not work until I restart my PC and then maybe itll work and I can view transmog but def no cinematics which sucks bc they are cool and you cant skip them if it is park of a quest. You have to click on it to progress to the next step
Not yet, I will…. I found a way to get a ticket in…. ITs under character stuck but only thing I could find. This was just to get my gripes out and see if I am the only one who felt this way about the support
I believe like the cut scene is trying to play bc if I alt tab into another window, my screen still works and can do stuff, its only wow whether that be a cutscene or transmog window
That’s because you need to go to Bug Reports. GMs can’t fix the bugs in the game. And this is purely a Blizz issue, not something they can solve on a player basis.
And if all that fails, you can try the module in the addon called Plumber that may prevent it by lessing the amount of mogs shown. Lemme log in real quick to show you the option in the addon:
Have you updated video drivers? What type of card? If it’s an AMD, you might have to force dx11 in the launcher options.
Method 1: Using Battle.net Command Line Arguments (Recommended)
Open the Battle.net Desktop App.
Select World of Warcraft from your game list.
Click the Cogwheel icon (Options) next to the Play button and select Game Settings.
Find World of Warcraft in the list and tick the box for Additional command line arguments.
In the text box, enter: -d3d11
Click Done and launch the game.
I uninstalled and reinstalled wow before midnight, because so much was changing.
About to try the dx11 thing but drivers are all up to date & this is a newer coomputer I bought 3-5 months ago and spent a decent amount for me… like $1400 on just the PC. Lol started my first big boy job in Life insurance and finally got to treat myself
There is an advanced option there which resets all cvars (which can get changed by various addons and what not). Check that if the basic ui reset does not work.
If this does not work, it is something else on your end…drivers, power supply. Maybe scan and repair the game files, etc.
