Per Wowhead -Phase 2 testing starting on PTR -Guild Bank testing starting on PTR -LFG tool (not LFD) testing starting on PTR -Arena points gained per week will be increased -Arena point and honor point gear will have their costs reduced prior to the end of S1 -Outland faction PVP gear from rep vendors will be available before the end of S1 -And finally, big clarification: ARENA POINTS WILL BE CONVERTED TO HONOR AT A RATE OF APPROXIMATELY 1 ARENA POINT → 10 HONOR POINTS AT THE END OF S1

This was initially how it was, But Stoopz said something about Blizzard releasing this gear sooner. Because if they did it later it’d just be practically useless. Everyone would have their Arena gear that’s already better than it before it was released. I think it’s a change that should happen. I wouldn’t want that gear to become obsolete.

That’s because it was for alts not your main.

If they release it early wtv.

But originally it was between 2.3-2.4.

You’re also asking for a full set of pvp gear for literally nothing but questing through zones to 70. Which within itself is an issue, which is why it should stay a catch up mechanic.

Yes, that is what we’re asking for. Because the gear is a stepping stone, It’s a crutch. It’s a stat stick for those who would like to hop straight into PvP and stand a chance to people who have raided every week since release w/ like 7 BiS pieces…

And it may not even be the most amazing gear, but it’s better than the questing gear. And i’d rather farm rep for gear than run the same dungeon 12 times just to see never see the piece I would like never drop. You feel?

We’re going to get the rep gear a LOT sooner than it’s supposed to. Holly said it’s coming sooner so it’s coming sooner. Why is irrelevant. And good because I want 5/17 pieces of pvp gear straight away.

No, because the current honor grind is so insane people simply aren’t bothering to try arena.

I suspect it’ll land around August 10 when this HvH test is supposed to end. It’s kind of silly that they’ll have that out along with S1 honor gear. I wouldn’t mind them replacing that with the S1 arena gear at that point.
