So just trying to work how long soon is ,“TBC WILL BE COMING OUT SOON-2021-”
So if it was coming in the middle of the year I hope they would say its coming around the middle of the year instead of soon. I would also like to think that soon would be soon rather then later so an end of year release doesn’t seem like it would be the case. so if soon is soon is tbc coming out in 1 - 2 months from now. Any longer would bring it out of the so called soon bracket.
Soon is whenever Blizzard deems it to be.

Blizzard used to legit write Soon™ for release dates on stuff in the forums back in the day. Soon™ was their in-joke that they would release it when it was ready.
I for one would rather log in after an update and just see that the prepatch dropped. I love the days when Blizzard could surprise us.

Though both TBC Classic and DIablo 2 Resurrected are supposed to be 2021 releases and I suspect they want to spread them out a bit.
So I would guess one this summer and one this fall/winter.
There was some early reports that it would be may. So it got me thinking. Maybe they were half right.
Beta = may.
TBC release = August.
Or maybe pre patch is in May and lasts for 1-3 months to level them Blood Elves and Dranei.
Or maybe its maybelline.
I’m still going with my prediction of this summer. But could be sooner, or later. All we know is that will be released by December 31 of this year, and even that could get pushed back, so who knows.

First Blizzard release you’ve been through, I see.
I’m surprised this hasn’t been mentioned or maybe I’ve just missed over it but TBC internal Alpha has been data mined with the beta guessed to soon follow.
Historically, the average time for acti/blizz to announce an expansion has bee 6 months until live, and 13 months for a new product.
It will probably be late summer / early fall to be conservative. Maybe we’ll get the pre-patch or the early summer/late spring and if rumors are again true – beta in the next couple months.
August 26th 2021 is my guess.
