I realllllly wish it was. But I doubt it, I’m sure its the world buff item and batching change. I just don’t see them dropping the patch without a word.

I doubt it will take that long.
The few maintenance days we’ve had in the past that were estimated for 8 hours all finished several hours earlier.

The prepatch will almost certainly be announced ahead of time. I wouldn’t expect it until most of the tbc beta bugs are worked out, since there are a lot of talents and abilities that are currently not working quite right.
Heard that they are reducing the “batch delay” from 400 ms to 10 ms regarding spell resolution.
Less lag delay. Probably so it’s similar to Retail values.
Doubt it they’d want to sell more hype and so on, they’ll probably give us a week warning at min before pre-patch
tuesday is the PTR realm patch. The batching reduction and world buff token patch. Nothing more.
They’re not gonna drop prepatch without a word, especially when your character gets snapshotted and you have to make a server decision.
Not to mention the absolute outcry that would happen if prepatch drops and nobody can level tradeskills on their new-race characters (Mining, herbing…etc are bugged and basically cap at 20 atm on beta)

People will try to convince themselves of anything. There is zero chance they’ll launch it without warning.
Probably not… entirely an unpopular and 100% selfish opinion but I hope not… I still have so much preparing to do and the second the pre patch comes out I’m on a one-month clock.

Would be nice, but I doubt it.
Probably this. The Beta is still a ways off from being finished.
We will most likely see the Pre-Patch before the end of May.
