Im personally waiting for TBC, but at the same time, would completely understand if they decided to not go through with it (despite that little survey).
Anyone else sense the same thing?
The Classic honeymoon is long ended, and I wonder if launching TBC within a year is even happening in these strange times.

More than likely it is worth ($$$) it for Blizz. For an old school guy like myself? Probably not.
I mean I don’t see why they wouldn’t? For all the constant complaining we see on these forums, Classic has been a very successful re-release. People are legitimately excited for the prospect of TBC mainly because of the changes that made it more accessible and overall less grindy than its predecessor.
Blizz would literally have to put little effort in creating TBC Classic so its free money.

I’m waiting for TBC arena. An era of arena before it got ruined. Pretty much tbc wrath and cata. After that everything kinda went downhill slowly but surely.
Plus loads of balances to many classes, pvp design and even pve gets a ton of reworks that make the game more enjoyable such as tokens for all specs and so on.
Tbc is classic but better.

My server is still poppin’ at all hours. I’m sure a lot of people thought the game would be long dead by now, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they revealed that classic alone has a higher population than other MMOs on the market.
And just based off the daily discussions I see over guild chat, trade and LFG, it seems a lot of people are greatly interested in a classic version of TBC to be released-- especially the PvP crowd that wants arena and new battleground.

There’s a large group wanting TBC. Denying them that wouldn’t be the brightest move.
I wonder how Classic will be when TBC launches and Naxx has worn out. Will there be Classic+? I can’t imagine doing the same content after 6-12 months of Naxx would be much fun but that’s just me.

Classic made so much bank just from launch that it would be stupid not to. There are also many players who have never intended to play Classic but love TBC.

For sure. The only question we need to ask is how they do it. In my perfect world it would be like it was with Vanilla=>TBC but there will still be some people who want Classic and they would need their own servers.
Of course they will, then Wrath. Why wouldn’t they go with the subsequent expansions that netted them buku bucks?

I want them separate. Either of which can be copied, I’m not too fussed.

Not for me. I’ve seen what the player base has done to Classic. People take it way too seriously and it sucks most of the fun out of it. A sizable portion of the playerbase doesn’t seem to remember how to goof off anymore and it makes them no fun to be around. For a community driven game like an MMO, this is a death sentence.
I think I’d rather go back to playing other games with a small group of friends or single player games than bother with TBC.

I totally want TBC. Because TBC leads to Wrath, my favorite time in the game.

Because BC is an objectively better game that addresses most of the issues present in vanilla. BC is literally vanilla done right. If you look at nearly all of the changes people ask for in classic, they were added/fixed in BC. The biggest lesson I learned playing classic is that I truly want BC, and I know I’m not the only one.
The only “bad” things added in BC are flying and the new races.

What are you taking about? The real classic honeymoon starts next week.

I am enjoying Classic. While I would enjoy TBC, I don’t want to feel rushed into playing it.

TBC is a near 100% certainty. The only thing that would stop it is total annihilation of the planet from a cataclysmic event.

Just add on more L60 content. Open Azshara Crater, Release Khara as L60. Bonus points for skipping over outlands completely and opening up Wrath content tuned to L60.

Dumb thread. Is it worth it? Of course it is. More people want classic tbc than classic. TBC would even bring the WOTLK fans back, which is more than classic and TBC. 2/10 at best, leaning towards 1/10.
