Heroic Gems are not worth getting due to your "Unique System"
I want to make my character the best I can through all phases and I would like you guys to change the Epic Gems from heroic dungeons to “Unique Equipped” so people like myself can farm the gems for my T5 gear without having to remove the current gem from my current T4 piece, then farm it.
If I have the gem in my gear or anywhere on my character I cannot see the gem drop or hold another in my bank.
I want to farm the content, for future items but the Unique lock is stopping me.
This would be a simple change by taking the “Unique-Equipped” status from JC gems and putting them to Heroic gems instead.
SIDE NOTE
Item restoration is broken. It keeps track of all items on my account, even greens, blues and items I cannot equip etc.
I manage my guilds bank and sell/flip and DE greens/blues daily. I went to my item restore to get an item from last month and due to the history being so limited I could only see recent items.
These are two simple fixes in my opinion and large quality of life changes but Item Restoration needs to change and when it does include all our old items please. I don’t see why I can’t select by the month or even filter by item type.
Very simple change on Blizzard’s end.
I can’t see why I would want to restore plate green bracers over my epic or level 65+ blue items. I have a ticket in explaining this situation but I know customer service is the worst it has ever been!
wow, that is the most sweaty and min-max thing i’ve read in a long while, you want to be able to farm heroics just for gems with 1 stat point extra on them? wow…wish i had that kind of free time, and i have 3 70s…
Not trying to sweat I guess, just enjoy helping my friends in heroics and both would be a simple QoL = Quality of Life change but yeah something like this is probably way to high IQ for them to understand or implement.
Bump on the Item Restore Feature being total and complete trash.
Good idea, and I’m glad you brought it to my attention. I had no idea that if I already have a heroic gem in my possession, I can’t possibly ever get another one of the same type.

Sure, and also there are heroic gems that offer unique combinations of stats, like Seer’s Chrysophase from AC that has 4 int and 5 spirit (which is awesome for Arcane mages).
More spirit = more sustain on Arcane Blast spam
Humans get 10% extra spirit.
Spirit enhances innervates
Improved Divine Spirit buff turns portion of spirit into spellpower
Also, the Seer’s Chrysophase allows you to place some intellect in a blue gem slot, which (combined with a bit of spirit) is better than 5 spellpower and stamina imo.
These gems should not be Unique. If some players want to run heroics until they have a full set of epic gems in each socket – each time they get a new tier set of gear – that means more players are running heroics.
