This is correct. You can use your main character to finish the Campaign questline, and then switch over to your Tauren and start the Heritage Armor questline.

Oh thank goodness. I really didn’t want to farm exalted with the honorbound and zandalar again just to get my transmog. As I’m sure a lot of people such as myself leveled up our first tauren just to get this beautiful heritage.

*Tauren will also first need to complete the War Campaign quest Stay of Execution, which will be available shortly after the launch of Rise of Azshara.

Ok, level my Tauren get the war campaign done.

Thanks for the info and updates. I thought I was probably in good shape, but it’s nice to get confirmation. I also wasn’t sure if Death Knights were eligible, since we start at L55, as this is my only max-level Tauren, but it doesn’t sound like that’s a problem either.

Maaan, my only issue is I was a tauren and I like HM tauren too much but that heritage set is sexy (for tauren~)

Hidiho i have Raced changed my HM-Taurus to Taurus, (very very longtime before she was a Troll) well im extraled with Thunder Bluff and tada i have NOT the Questline for the Heritage Armor… Oh and i did ALL Quests both Alliance and Horde… And dont have and get that Questline… Well Blizz will get a Ticket from me then i will know more

Updating as of 5/3/2022.

I am unaware of if Ive completed Stay of Execution on another toon but i can say i most likely have. I just now race changed to Tauren and have NOT done the War Campaign on this character. Also about 15 min ago i finished my Exalted grind with Thunder Bluff. Upon flying to the embassy in Orgrimmar there is a Tauren standing outside with a quest for my heritage armor.

• You do NOT have to complete the War Campaign on the character you want the armor on.
• Character CAN be freshly race changed.
• Character must be Exalted with Thunder Bluff.
