If that really is the case; then I’ll pray for account wide currency/tokens and Rep. They could have also just made Essences account earned and avoided this whole mess.

A) Alpacas outside of a highland landscape is immersion breaking. An alpaca in the desert?
B) Glad you don’t have an actual response to this bad design for characters who haven’t had an Echo since they were implemented, and you’re being jovial about your replies otherwise.

How? They drop from everything, including visions, assaults to get into visions, M+, pvp… everything…
How does your MAIN have none? Doesn’t sound like you really play your main.

Hope you do, because generally the gear worth putting these on are going to be 5 Mask Vision gear and our Weekly M+ chest gear… and those 100% already have corruptions on them.
This really undermines this systems usefulness .

Because if you can’t buy any essences on main they just don’t drop PERIOD.
AKA, if you actually played your main you’re walking into this hotfix screwed.

Can’t tell if satire but… Characters that have all rank 3 essences do not receive echoes currently. If someone had all rank 3 prior to release they would have 0, after release once they got all rank 3’s they would stop receiving them.

Ahh, I was unaware. I have not grinded out all rank 3’s like the PvP one and such. Didn’t figure most had lol.

How does this make sense lmao increasing acquisition while also increasing cost does literally nothing as a “catch up” system. And this leaves mains at a disadvantage as our primary character couldn’t get Echoes

I would say they should make unused essences sellable if I didn’t think people would grab the most OP corruptions for their class off the bat.

How about lower the corrupted momento required to upgrade on chamber of heart and the amount of the currency to make the Vision,10k is too much for end of the expansion
Which they’re already fixing with the vendor. What exactly is your point?
So instead of just creating a new currency you are just using an old one that have been hoard-able for weeks now? I know people with tens of thousands of them on alts, while their mains literally can’t collect them at all.

I certainly appreciate the addition of this system, but this technical limitation means it’s effectively dead for my main, whose gear is almost entirely from M+ and auto-corrupted.
Very much hoping this can be fixed. If it can’t, maybe you can stop the auto-corrupt on M+ weekly chest loot and instead drop an equivalent amount of echoes in the chest?

Good thing i wasn’t able to stockpile echoes on my main, while many of my friends do (on their mains with all essences unlocked as well) I like when new systems get put in place that have a dimishing return on my main bc i played the game, just love it!

Can we get a way to cleanse corruption on alts that haven’t completed the cloak questline yet?
