Is there anyway to force the UI to stay stuck to your target? It’s randomly switching targets then spells onto the targets I didn’t want it to because it decided it was going to switch to something random.
ya dude you just have to play in human form so that your fingers are precise enough to hit the intended keys and only the intended keys
in real life that translates to taking off the furry mittens before you play

seems weird
look into target last target macros and incorporate them into a few comfortable binds maybe?
that should only happen if a hunter feign deaths, a rogue vanishes, or if you’re fatfingering tab

I only need it for classes that have pets so hunters and DKs my target seems to randomly shift to a pet.

yeah but i’m not lol otherwise it would be happening a lot more often. Only happens when there’s pets around.

never used this but if you’re 100% sure you arnt pressing tab it has to be addon related
try playing without this and see if it continues to happen

I don’t know anything about pet classes. But if they taunt, or hunters use misdirection or something could that b making him tarrget pet ? I don’t know, don’t think I’ve ever had this issue.
Under keybinds you can look for targetting. Maybe one of your keys are set to it for some reason.
Yeah because when i’m fighting a hunter or a DK my target suddenly swaps to a pet from no where and I haven’t clicked it or pressed tab it’s weird it doesn’t happen on any other class. And when it does happen, it’s on a mage, rogue or druid when they vanish.

I am not 100% sure if this is the case, but this kind of sounds like something that happens to me:
I use my mouse keys to target my party / enemy frames. If I hit the bind for my party members two times, it targets them the first time, and then their pet the second time. Could you possibly be hitting your bind to target the enemy more than once which is targeting their pet?
I can’t say I’ve ever noticed it happening on enemy frames, but I’ve definitely used some big defensive CDs on my partners pets because I either hit the key two times too fast on accident, or just don’t realize I already had my partner targeted.
Edit: I also think there might be a “Sticky Target” function somewhere in the settings that might not be enabled.
Sticky is enabled, I checked that. But that might explain something about it if it swaps like that because some of my skills have auto target on them.
Reset all binds to default + disable all add ons and see if it happens. Doesn’t fix it but let’s you know if it’s wow related or something else

honestly sounds like some hunters feign death very fast and it auto targets the pet when you’re pressing your abilities normally
DK correlation doesn’t make sense but maybe because pet = pet
Is your mouse double clicking
It’s possible thats it and you’re not realizing
If your spamming a macro that’s target arena1, 2, 3, it’s very possible the 2nd press will target the pet if you continue spamming it. Hop into a skrim until you find out and spam the button. Curious to see what happens for science.
