How about Blizz implement a system that makes it so that nobody can attack a target until their designated task hits it.
You can only use CC abilities before hand. Their damage is increased by 1000% against everyone that isn’t the tank until the tank hits them then they go back to normal.
Ehh, extreme, but an effective idea (sadly). I think the last part would be more effective then just disallowing people to attack. You can pull first, but you can’t use any threat redirecting abilities and the aggro will stick to the first person and only that person who pulled for 5 seconds. Then either Enrage or Evade.
This thread was created because someone has a lack of interesting things going on in their life. Hopefully that will change and we’ll see less of this kind of thread.
You’ll be VERY lucky to find an entire group that will let you learn your class. They expect…DEMAND…that you cyborg up and plug into the matrix and download the manuals directly into your brainstem.
Takes about 18 seconds
Well then that would make it even easier to hold threat in shadowlands when you were saying it would be harder. Honestly take 5 and make your mind up so you are at least consistent.
Again… No. There are times that you WANT DPS to pull. It can be helpful. An example; a hunter misdirecting to a tank who is at a snap point, instantly stacking the mobs on them and making the pull significantly faster.
Another example; I was training a friend of mine to dungeon tank not long ago. He was tanking but I was driving on my mage to teach him the route (it was motherlode) what to pull, what to interrupt, what to reflect, what is painful, where to skip, et cetera.
It was just a 12 but I pulled several packs for him because he asked me to. With your system I’d likely have been a very dead mage despite the fact that I was doing nothing but helping.
Sorry but some people can see the mechanix of the game when they dont just play DPS.
Tanks arent gods. They cannot keep aggro on everything all the time.
More trash and higher DPS on the charts, the harder it gets.
Yeah…I get it …its theoretical math.
