Warmode use to be fun… now all it is is infested with immortal tanks , why does blizz continue allowing tanks to out heal healers, and out dps dps?.. makes no sense

I assume it’s because they are doodoo at doing wpvp as dps so they have to make themselves feel good by playing tank.

Name one tank that has more dps than a dps class I will wait. Before you answer take a good hard think about what dps is and what you are probably refering too sdd.

Guardian druid comes to mind… i see about twenty plus of those an hour.

“Looks at sim chartings” nope doesn’t do more dps than even the lowest dps class, currently MM hunter. It does do more SDD though sustained damage done.

Since when has Warmode been fun? Rogues resetting for the 5th time after using their CDs. Running into 5 man groups as a solo. Raid groups abusing shard hopping to fill Nazjatar with 80 people and locking the other faction out of the shard. Killing someone only for them to abuse phasing so they can disappear before they die. It’s always been unfun for a majority of players and barely anyone would opt-in to it apart from stealth classes if there weren’t experience and loot incentives. Everyone I know turns it on to do their world quests or leveling and turns it off immediately after.

Tanks are great at disrupting encounters and you actually have to try and deal with them instead of just steamrolling the healer or the glass cannons.

At first, after seeing a lot of these threads, I figured that it really was a, “QQ” issue. That maybe some people just don’t like how unkillable a tank is and their spec doesn’t survive long enough to out DPS a tank.
But nah, I haven’t noticed this being an issue with other tanks, but Guardian Druid is big busted. Not even just WPvP, but in skirms and battlegrounds too. It’s not the fact that they’re hard to kill; that’s fine, they’re a tank. But holy hell, a friend of mine just showed me how busted Guardian Druid was and it’s pretty insane with just standard base honor gear. They pump out a lot of DPS and heal for a ton.

Raiders made Tanks OP.
Tanks in PvP used to not have God sustain. Even healer hybrids.
Low skill players will be drawn to tank classes because of how forgiving and easy they are to play, but that doesn’t mean every tank has no skill.
