Why I like pvp. Their prominence is not so high here. Even non arena they aren’t as vital.
Hell in this weeks brawl they aren’t even priority targets. You splash the AOE like its cool and they die with the rest of the melee. Its the casters you want dead more.
Even in av with enough towers down you can give a plate melee pocket heals to clear. Now it is nice when yo get 3 tank tanks to try for 2 tower trick. BUt that happens so infrequently best not to bank on it.
Exception is bears. Druids are special. In ctf especially. They can have some special treatment. as they would be flag carriers of choice. They carry the flag. They choose how and we we clear the way based on that.
which is fine. Seen the other fun ways. Like when warrior was kind of not tuned right. and they literally heroic leapt flags in warsong. Funny to watch but that was,yeah…, it was crap.

Tanks are heavy and not aerodynamic, so they use a lot of gasoline. To reduce CO2 emissions, they expect to be summoned. Simple ‘save the planet’ science bro.

But I have the opposite experience. Whenever I tank, I’m always first at the stone. I think it’s just people are lazy in general.

Not flying out to the stone is one of my pet peeves. I’ve left groups as a tank where I was last to join, first at the stone. Like I get there, press “M”, and leave group. And I’ve kicked tanks that refused to fly over.
I really hate people who are lazy.
