Tanks refuse to walk

This is not a tank issue. People are lazy. All people. All roles.

It got REALLY bad back in MoP. People stopped politely asking for summons when they joined groups while not at the appropriate location. They just took to spamming:

1

In chat, completely unprompted, in place of actual words. It made me so angry every time. It’s kinda fallen off since then and people use words again most of the time but it’s much the same behavior. People queue from wherever they are (because who knows which group will hit that invite button), and assume someone else will handle the summoning.

if they are nice idc but yea i dislike people in general who are just lazy to walk to the stone. if 2 people are here to summon great but if you joined first and just afk and asking for a summon later nty.

i really don’t even understand why we still have stones tbh like bruh just make it all instanced. the raids you can leave with stones but the dungeons just make them instanced for like m0 and M+

If we’re talking about M+, it’s likely that a lot of the tanks are bringing up the route and refreshing their memory.

Tanks have to do a lot more homework than the rest of the group, remember.

I mean the fastest tank speed is about 35 mph. So, yeah they’re pretty slow.

It’s not that they’re refusing, it’s that their walks have become quite silly.

If its a pug I’ll wait for a summon while I mentally prepare for the stupidity thats about to take place.

You know that’s a thing, right?

My hunter tamed one and it became a “Bird of Prey”. So disappointing.

at this point for peeps in heroic dungeon quest fillers…you can dump a tank with attitude.

HAd a few heroics we dropped tank before boss 1. 4 people chill one not. Vote them off the island lol.

Plated melee in the crew they get pocket heals and DPS does its part to not be, well, we all know the meme’s about DPS.

recall one Sanguine depths we got right to before final boss before a fill in tank showed up. Our frost dk with pocket healer got us that far.

I mean they kind of are. There’s hardly any tanks in the game it’s kind of a privalege of being one

Players complaining about too few tanks: how many of them play a class with a tank spec?

And of those who do: how many switch to tank to help things out?

Just curious.

If you where queue up for a dungeon/raid you should already be there or heading there. The exception is friends/guildies.

This reminds me of people flocking to the world bosses in Legion and at the beginning of Legion, people would summon and wait and yadda yadda, at least sometimes.

By the end of the expansion the boss would be on it’s last 10% health and you’d have people saying “Summons” and then a bunch of oblivious people spamming “1” as the group disbanded.

Same with healers

What I find strange is how did we end up at a point were cloth wearers can’t keep up with plate wearers?

Probably literally something like 95% of the time of more, I’m the first to the stone and I run all tanks and a few DPS toons. My time is valuable and I rather get the run done and over with and moving on to the next toon or activity than waste time on some power play.

I’ve left groups too if I don’t see the dots moving in the dungeon direction and I’ve already announced that I’m on my way and/or there.

because thats just how tanks ROLL. we TREAD along. Tanks are not those Spider tanks with a bunch of legs. you either place an instant order at the summoning stone our you have to wait for the air drop as they are flown in. :helicopter: :airplane: :parachute:

Best tank ever. Rest are posers.

Steward vendors are always offering wet cloths in their voice lines but never actually have them for sale.
