I dont play a tank but why would anyone play any other tank besides G Druid?
They are so OP broken that its kind of comical to watch them in action…
Ya they are an absolute joke.
In another 2 months they will be having more a 1 m plus health . So ya just great .
Broken? Maybe in little bgs and arena, they’re not very good in 40-man bgs.
Any BG where it has to do with guarding nodes or carrying flags they are completely broken .

No one is debating whether or not they are good in little bgs (they are), I was just pointing out that they are not very good in 40-man bgs.
Prot Pally and Blood DK seem to fare much better in 40-mans, they bring more usefulness to the team, as well.
Prot Warrior and Brewmaster are kinda meh compared to the other tanks though, in a random bg setting anyways. I don’t remember the last time I saw a Brewmaster tank in a bg, doesn’t seem very popular for whatever reason.
On no planet is that even remotely true… I would take a G Druid in 2,3,10,40, 100, 1000 in every single situation…

Atm 8.3 might see BM go down to c or d tier.

Guess they will be down there with guardian druids then. One of the plus sides of templates was independent pve and pvp balancing. Now that brew is good in pve it’s getting nerfed and will make it even worse for pvp.

Guardian Druid and Prot Pally are useful in most bgs, great self-healing and utility/support for teammates. Blood DK is amazing in 40-man bgs, 2 charges of deathgrip is just so good for the big teamfights.
Prot Warrior is just lacking in the utlity/support department compared to the other tanks. Their damage is good though.
I choose based off fun factor. Nothing comes close to prot war.

When ever I’m in a arena with a just me and tank left. I run out the clock. I can’t solo kill them, It’s not even possible. So I just run around pillars and use my transcendence. Hopefully if I keep doing this they’ll stop going into arenas. Because me and my 2s partner can easily kill their healer if it’s a tank and healer comp.
In BGs, I like guarding nodes as a tank; buys enough time for help to arrive when calling incs
Nice also for sitting healers to kick casts, silence and cc

I think that you should try Prot Warrior a little more before you say they lack in Utility/Support. If anything Prot Warriors are one of the most disruptive Tanks in the game. A good Prot Warrior can be a nightmare to an enemy team in a group fight.
