Hello, DPS would like to have a conversation about tanks and you.

  1. Please do not pull for the tank, it takes effort to get mobs under control and grouped up.
  2. When a tank takes the effort to mark the kill order, its done for a reason, please focus fire on the marked target.
  3. Please do not run ahead of the tank jumping and spinning around, this causes you to pull, see request number 1.
  4. Above all else, please try to have fun and enjoy the adventure.

how about you just save this speech as a Macro, and tell the type of DPS you’ve been inviting as reminder instead of on here. It would be more useful.

Also a big part of the time A Tanks truly mess up the kill order and B most Warrior tanks have a really difficult time holding agro off some geared dps and C some tanks take the healer/dps time for granted and do not keep the instance running at a reasonable pace. GG <3

Don’t forget to tip the tank at the end of successful dungeon run, 5g is the standard

Hello, mister healer here. I have a few rules for you tanks too!

  1. Don’t pull when my mana bar is low
  2. Don’t pull while I’m drinking
  3. Do not die faster than I can heal you on basic mobs

(This is just a joke, not trying to be mean here :stuck_out_tongue:)

what I do is put 5g into the trade window at the start of the run. After each boss is down I open trade again with either more or less gold depending on performance. I find this exceptionally successful in motivating tanks to do well.

Why should I go to retail? Nothing in here indicates I even like retail. Have not even looked at retail for many years. Why post such a toxic response to a simple request?

I as a tank agree with these rules as well. I always check my groups mana and health bars BEFORE pulling. Good advice and I agree.

Yes, I agree us tanks do mess up and sometimes we do mess up the kill order, but that’s on us and is our fault. But to see DPS attack anything but the marked target is frustrating.
