Tank Threat Issues

Well sure. Warbringer allows you to charge in defensive stance, and in combat, and if you’re specc’ed into improved charged like I am (you’re not) you also get 6 more rage from a charge. Which is 6 + 15 = 21, and that allows you to Charge–>TC even if starting with no rage and having Bloodrage on CD, so sure it does make a difference.

However, it absolutely isn’t a requirement and isn’t the difference between being able to hold threat on mobs in an instance or not. In any case, warriors are a ton of fun to play and are excellent tanks and dps.

We’ve gotten off topic. The point is that so many classes have gotten runes that give them the ability to do a lot of damage very quickly but tanks do not have the ability to generate a lot of threat very quickly. Especially Warriors who rely on having rage in order to do anything but auto attack.

It’s fully on topic.

People who play their classes and their ROLES incorrectly are complaining about class and role balance.

People are literally using warriors to hold aggro off the best DPS in the world.
Why can’t you hold aggro off some random idiots from LFG?

Just because you don’t see a little % above a enemy nameplate doesn’t mean you aren’t aware of the threat you have on it (especially if you’ve played a lot and have a feel for when you might lose aggro depending on X)

I know most of the classes and the abilities they use. I look for those ability visual queues, listen for spell sounds observe enemy nameplate HP to understand the damage it has received from others as well as what I’ve done to it. The fact this seems impossible to you without an addon just speaks to how much of the game you’ve automated for yourself

You are adding zero value to the conversation. Please leave.

Bro you should submit yourself to science for study if you can process all of this data in real time for a 40 man raid with absolutely zero on screen data.

or…maybe you should just stop lying to yourself.

Why does your argument require a 40 man raids to even discuss it? I’m talking about all parts of the game, not just endgame raiding.

Are you even playing SoD? Mr. Level 80 Orc Warrior?

No, you just don’t like my response because it disagrees with your narative.

Thread point “wahh my class sucks i can’t hold threat off XXX”

my point “people use your class to hold threat off the best players in the world, maybe you are just playing it wrong?”

To use an analogy, you’re here complaining that all Nike shoes suck. In reality, the best athletes in the world use Nike shoes, while you’re wearing them untied and on the wrong feet.

Do you not know how forum avatars work?

I am aware.

He’s asking for balancing in a new game mode that is currently wildly imbalanced. But your solution is to shut up, get good, and download an addon that won’t change anything he is currently having a problem with in his journey through the game. No, endgame is not the only part of the game. To dismiss the rest of the game and focus on one little sliver of it for your argument really speaks to your level of ego

My argument applies to all content, but it’s strongest when applied to raiding content, especially 25/40 man.

Are you disabling/enabling addons depending on your raid size? Unlikely considering you don’t use any… so the point applies to your overall gameplay.

Again, your argument is “Get Good” even though I’ve played this game for almost 20 years and have raided at a very high level and I know that the issue is an inadequacy with the class design.

He’s asking for buffs to a class that is CURRENTLY THE HIGHEST PERFORMING DPS AND TANK.

that is why i am here saying that he (and you) are playing it wrong.

Highest performing where? In the top 5% in endgame? Such a narrow argument

Try to be more proactive with pulling. If one mob is left, don’t use any rage. Taunt it and move on to the next pack (check healer mana).

Pool rage at the end of a pull.

Focus on building equal aoe threat by tabbing between targets. When you inevitably lose one, taunt it and then ignore it again. It will die before it does meaningful damage.

If multiple targets are getting nuked, mark a skull target. If the dps still don’t focus it, then it is on the dps.

all balancing is made around end game pve and pvp.

Oh!! It’s doing well in DPS so the Prot spec should be neglected? So dumb.

You’ve been playing too much retail I’m thinking. No wonder you need addons
