Yes, i cant find the post (it was years ago) but they said they only read the in development changes forum with regards to class feedback and what isnt working and what needs to change. This is a forum for us to discuss class fantasy and suggestions how to play thhe class as it is.

I saw your post in the development forum from three days ago which had exactly zero replies and 117 views, well until Ky replied just now.
I just made a post on that forum too, but I give it about 10 minutes before the usual trolls go in and start squealing. I just don’t see a thread in the development forum making any remote traction, though. The DK community feels so small as it is, and the biggest concern of the community is only voiced by a raindrop of people.
This claim, originally and very reasonably made by me, was proven several times by several people. So yes, we can drop this already-solved subject now.

Id the people who support any topic act like childish brats not even debating the topic, and end up resorting to personal insults, that topic NEEDS to be buried. This is why forum moderators show down the other thread. Childish insults and name calling is just proof that a topic concept has had its flaws shwon and its supporters have no more facts or proof to support them and yesz at that point, the topic shoud die.
Edit: I just realized you thought i was talking about the supporters, and i am a bit insulted you think i would ever say that to or about anyone. That just prooves just how low the expectations of this thread are…

My mistake then. But in that case, who were you talking about? If you were talking about some of the guys bashing on topics though, yeah, they’re rather childish at times sadly.
I still miss the aesthetic. I don’t care where the damage comes from, I just like to be powerful. If we could get a way to transmog to 2h, I would be fine with that.
I liked the idea of being a 2h wielding, heavy(ish) armor wearing, spell slinging, healing warrior, and there weren’t a lot of options for that in vanilla.

Ish, but the focus is pushed into DOTs and passive damage. Also, not the best at healing others.

Yeah, that’s why I’m not too crazy about Unholy sadly enough. And I think back then, when Legion was coming out, people were saying that the weapons were showing who was who. But originally, it never was the weapons, but the play style with the weapons in the first place. I’m not sure if people are aware of that anymore sadly enough.
I can’t play Unholy. I don’t like pet concepts or AFK damage. Hence why I am critical of Frost’s damage distribution.

Unholy isnt that bad. A lot of people dont like the wounds system because its so random. I like any spec though. Pop into Blood if I have to, go Unholy for something different.
I just like the class. It just feels slow and awful a lot of times to me.

Frost’s spec concept, the visuals of the abilities, tooltips and the sounds within the spec are why I love it so much.

Its appealing. But the class is just a shadow of itself. It might perform everywhere, but its in this point its just… bleh as a class.
Its like you drove a 900hp car for 10 years and then was given a old CRX HF. It might get you where you want to go but thats about it. People might try to apply that to 2h, but thats more like if you want that CRX in red or blue.
Some peoples Ego will not let them stop showing up. Even if they have made a fool of themselves or not.

I do agree with you. And To give credit to Kelliste she had a good idea on how to at least get 2h frost back into the game with as little difference between dw and 2h. By making a rune that combined Rune of Razorice and Rune of the Fallen Crusader. The issue that she mentioned was that dw will get more KM procs over 2h but that could also be adjusted to give 2h slightly higher proc rates to even out. Or to increase damage of Obliterate to compensate for having less KM procs.
The last bit is my thoughts but if we do continue this conversation about getting 2h frost back into the game we should also be suggesting on how to balance frost with both options.
Personally I am for all 3 specs having 2h and dw option. But we should be having constructive conversations not going into a rabbit hole of which was better and will be better. I know I am also guilty of not being constructive in the conversations.

The KM procs can be easily evened out by making it PPM instead of percentage based. Combine that with two runes on a 2H and making the attack damage purely AP based and 2H could be brought back relatively easily. The difference in white damage wouldn’t even be that huge with the way two runes would interact with a 2H weapon.
