Did the game ever explain that the alliance knew what Talanji was doing? I went back over the quest text and it says that Talanji told her father that she only went out exploring with Zul, so nobody else should’ve known what she was up to in the first place.

I assume the Alliance had spies. I doubt they were simply just going to let Zul do a second attempt at world conquest.

No, they’re really not. :upside_down_face:

They’re splintered, but not extinct.

And as far as we know - The only branch that would really be “extinct” would be the Dark Trolls that evolved from the Well of Eternity or were essentially wiped out by the Twilight’s Hammer.

And most of all —

Zandalar has been noted to having once acted as the cradle and birthplace of ALL troll civilization on Azeroth … Given we have Zandalari trolls as a playable race, they’re clearly not extinct. lol

Pretty sure the game has been relatively silent about it. Honestly, I think the lore about the Alliance learning about Talanji attempted deal was something from maybe Blizzcon or even an interview.

Funny for something made it, it certainly got canonized in Chronicles. So no, this wasn’t made up by me and more importantly, it fits Anduin’s MO. He is not going to kidnap people for no reason.

Where in chronicles does it say he knew, i certainly don’t remember reading that, if that were the case you’d have just said chronicles instead of saying “uh uh an interview i think”
