Taking bets on when "Dungeons are Hard" post is reposted

Exactly! To say that people asking for the ability to queue into M0 are getting what they requested by bumping up the difficulty for Heroic dungeons lacks integrity.

And was thinking once again this morning, especially now that there will be differences within Mythic dungeons, what is the reason for not allowing M0 to be queueable?

I don’t do keys since I cannot queue for them.

No no no no, they did not say this. They said the rewards will be scaled up to Mythic 0. They said there will be no Mythic mechanics or any of that added to Heroics at all.

It’s exactly the same but just gives you better gear now.

They said the “Heroic difficulty and rewards will move up to roughly the current level of Mythic 0.” - https://worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com/en-us/news/24072151/dragonflight-season-4-dungeon-changes-ahead

Andies. They wanted better rewards. Outside of welfare drip feed, content has to be more challenging to give better rewards.

Base scaling is higher. But yes, no mythic mechanics so it’s easier than an M0.

They did also say heroic difficulty will move up. However, I doubt that they will add additional mechanics to heroic.

So, I assume they meant heroic mobs will just hit harder, relatively, compared to current heroic.

M0 is designed to have content that can wipe you if you don’t respect it. That does not mesh with the design of queued content.

A heckuva lot more than have complained that blizz hates casuals and is trying to force them to get gud or get out.

Was that heroic should still be worth doing in terms of fun and rewards, an not something the one geared player in the party soloes.

But why would anyone do a dungeon if they could do Plunderstorm instead?

True. Plunderstorm is fun and queued dungeons are not.

This is definitely true. But, the cynic in me believes M0 not being queueable and having a weekly lockout is also a way for Blizzard to slow down gearing at the start of a season.

Honestly, I’m looking forward to it as an altoholic. Last one I leveled got to 70, went to the dream, did my weekly stuff for loot, immediately went and timed a +2.

That completely cut out interaction with Normal, Heroic, and M0 dungeons. Frankly, I think this will liven up things a lot, particularly since the only keys you see under 10 in the group finder are 2, 5, and 8. Everyone blows through them, and the number of low keys for learning a spec are nonexistent.

I like this (and Plunderstorm).

Okay, but now beginning with Season 4, there are changes being made to M0. But aside from that, I genuinely still don’t understand the reason for preventing M0 to be queueable just because wipes might be more prevalent.

Heroic

  • The tuning and rewards of this difficulty are increasing to be equivalent to a baseline Mythic (Mythic 0) dungeon in the current system.
  • Mythic difficulty changes and mechanics will not be present in this difficulty.
  • This remains a queueable experience.

Yeah pretty much it gets a tad harder but our ilevel also goes up several notches to meet it. Maybe it hits slightly harder? But we’ll also have Luck of the Draw with more hp/damage as well. It’s very likely the exact same thing but maybe a tad tougher.

Btw this should also be available to test on the PTR right now.

Am I the only one who thinks heroic dungeons still won’t even be that hard?

You can already degen low keys do this doesn’t make sense. Unless you mean they want to slow down m0 week which I would say
yeah? People always talk about wanting to smell the roses at the start of a new expansion and m0 week is only 1 week.

Then you don’t understand. I don’t believe you are arguing in good faith so unfortunately I’m just going to have leave you hanging if you are being genuine.

No.

Yea they will be trivial my guess
even with the bump
with no mythic 0 mechanics on the bosses it will still be a steamroll.
