Take the Lead in Follower Dungeons

Sad part is Guild Wars did this before WoW even came out.

It probably comes down to a number’s decision. Does your (and everyone that shares your opinion) dissatisfaction with this feature get outweighed by the satisfaction of everyone who does?

I can only speak for me and the circle of people I interact with. We are mostly 30+ and cant/wont neglect other areas of life to synch up gameplay schedules, where we can great but otherwise time it too much of a premium.

I believe the game is better with more follower style “you can still the play the game at all levels” and it would yield much more revenue for wow.

I think they should do something like they do for PVP, where there is a standard item level but then Mythic gear (obtained in mythic raiding/M+) should have a second power level that is only active in those gameplay modes.

That way progression of Raiding/M+ in maintained without the toxic “no you cant have nice toys like me unless you do the content I do” early 2000s era.

In an organised raid group, each fight is essentially a follower mode raid anyway as everyone needs to do their role near flawless (unless you are a raid/class leader in which there is extra overheads). So there is no difficulty/skill difference to speak of.

Can I just ask, why would it bother you so much if this was expanded to heroic or M0 dungeons? Does someone else having more fun mean you have less fun? Can you elaborate on why exactly you think that this feature should never be expanded beyond normal dungeons?

Might still be a bug, but they were rage quitting and typing funny things in chat when you died.

Because it ruins the aspect of teamplay. If there were no rewards for this gameplay mode then it would be okay.

And yet everyone still keeps on screaming about PLAYER CHOICE and yet when it comes to instance content it must be FORCED upon those who don’t really want to be apart of a group of players. Nice contradiction on the forums.

Its like going to chucky cheese and getting a free 20 tokens

Little billy starts QQ but why can’t i play everything for free and still hand in the stubs for the rewards? Why does it bother you if i have fun…

Can we not get off topic. Thank you.

All you need to know is that I corrected her and that’s that. Now, back on topic about followers dungeons and why it needs to be expanded.

How?

People running M+ and Mythic raids aren’t going to suddenly stop doing so because they can solo Heroic and M0 dungeons with AI bots. So, the grouped-content end game player base shouldn’t be affected at all.

And by the same token, there are hardly enough people treating M0 (and even less Heroic) dungeons as their “end game” activities to make a consequential point here.

Lol, why should people not be rewarded for doing content they do, if they do it, regardless of level or people they do it with be it AI or other players?

I mean they would still be doing it so why would they not or better yet why should they not, not everyone fits into the cookie cutter so many in this thread including you wanna force them into.

As someone who’s a big fan of being alone sometimes, it definitely doesn’t feel the same.

Please, please, please expand on this! Don’t let it be just these dungeons and then nothing else. For the sake of people who want to take their time in a dungeon, to soak in the atmosphere and enjoy all the little details. The devs put so much work into these locations and it would be nice to be able to fully appreciate it.

The incentives for players to move up into higher content is lessened.

Then it shouldn’t matter anyway.

False, based off what others have said even if heroic and mythic 0 was included in AI dungeons you’d have to do it normally if you wanted for stuff past that which most would if they went that far so it would likely increase participation not lessen it.

What incentives do they have now other than higher ilevel gear?

Because they will still have that.

How so? People who enjoy grouped content are already progressing past this level. The people who do not enjoy grouped content will have more progress.

You didn’t make a logical point here.
