If Wintergrasp isn’t going to be addressed, for whatever reason, can we at least ask Blizzard to take responsibility for its broken state? Otherwise, the incredibly toxic and hateful /i chats are going to continue. Almost everyone that queues for a lot of random epic bg’s knows how broken Wintergrasp is between scaling, tank damage, tank not doing wall damage, cats 2 shotting with fire… So much that it seems like 50% of the people that zone in on offense immediately leave, another 25% leaves after the first trainwreck. Except, there’s always at least 1 person that swears on their mother and everything holy that it’s only the players not knowing the battleground mechanics that cause the loss and “they’ve won every wintergrasp ever” and “it’s because of the people from classic” and “you have to be smart to win”.
By failing to take responsibility for the lack of adjustments made to this battleground AFTER the level and stat squish, Blizzard has uplifted this incredibly toxic behavior. Every time you zone into Wintergrasp on offense, you too can try to get other players to quit by claiming the other 39 people are just too braindead to function in real life.

While I can get on board with Ashran, I love Wintergrasp and IOC isn’t that bad. If they changed it back to every bg just being a bg and sometimes you got 10v10, sometimes you got 20v20, or even 40v40, that’d be cool. 40 man Warsong Gulch sounds like an amazing train wreck we need. Wintergrasp just needs fixed though, AV got immediate attention with its multiple hotfixes, but nothing seems to be coming for Wintergrasp. I don’t know how the rest of the bg’s weren’t looked at when they realized AV wasn’t scaling properly, especially the bg with vehicle scaling…

Whoever defends wins!!! learn that and get used to it. You will only get as mad as this if you are actually expecting to win attacking Wintergrasp…
Don’t get me wrong, you can do it, not in PUGs though… If you are attacking just get a tank and go around the world happy with your tank… I have fun doing that. One of my favs epic BGs. You can also go to their fort and destroy turrets…
And who knows, maybe you win… it’d be a nice surprise but should never be sought after.
The last attacking WG i had where people didnt afk before it started was picture perfect. You wouldve thought we were premade. Everyone listened. Took SR easy. Stacked vehicles like pro`s. People even got in the cannons on the seiges. Still lost.

What I mean by take responsibility is maybe they could throw together one of them blueposts that make no sense and cause so much rage that they have to address it 
Something like “we want you to be able to stand around more” or “you shouldn’t expect to win when sacking a fortress made of stone” lol. Honestly I’m just hoping they notice over 50% of the daily battleground posts being Wintergrasp hate and hoping they don’t just remove it.
Sick of seeing WG. Even when defending, it’s boring.

Something needs to be done to fix WG. My biggest gripe is at least being able to defend. I have been in a few WG groups where we won while attacking, but would still be attacking again, over and over. I think since xpac release, I have been on the defending side twice. All other times, daily battles, have been all on attack. There needs to be a change to this so that one side is not attacking the majority of the time. I don’t know how it could be formulated, but there does need to be a fundamental change to balance out when you attack and when you defend.
Also delete seething shore. There’s like 4 people that like it, seriously.

The reason you think you’re getting attack all the time is because of leavers.
A defending team needs 40 players for the battleground. An attacking team needs 187 players because of leavers.
That’s why we all feel like we keep getting WG on attack. 
100% accurate. Exact reason why Seething Fail pops continuously in the random BG queue. Actual fun BG’s like WSG pop once a blue moon.
