Ive done 12 heroics and got 1 chaos orb, what was the purpose of making these BOP besides trolling the people farming them? Everyone i talk to says they have 5+ and no use for them. So why allow people who cant use it to need it? on top of makign it BOP your just trolling us crafters who actually put time into our professions to craft gear.

Yes i asked my guild and one even said they had over 10 right now. I misunderstood i guess i talked to you before i posted this? whats your alt your in my guild?
This was a post about getting chaos orbs changed not asking you to comment that your an outlier.
anyways im just going to ignore you now since you think this post is about how many you have. Your only objective here was to poke a flaw in my argument, just say you disagree and move on

This is new context you are adding. It wasnât given in the original post. Thatâs good information.
Perhaps re-read your OP, and consider rewording it to focus on that topic then. Youâve got a lot of opinions sprinkled in, and I responded to something in it.
If you had said something more along the lines of,
âEverybody knows that Chaos Orbs will stop being BoP at some point, so a lot of people who donât need them now are rolling need on them. I sure wish other people didnât roll need on Chaos Orbs in dungeons, so I could take them all instead. Or that they just werenât BoP, since they wonât be later anyway.â
I may have had a different response. And it may have been more like, âYeah, since we already know that Chaos Orbs will be tradeable later, a lot of people are probably needing on them in anticipation. It might make sense to just make that change now.â
I didnât know the context. I actually have no chaos orbs, and I was curious as to whether he would now include my in the âall the people Iâve talked to,â line. And, whether that would (or should) call for a revision to the OP.

They somehow always do this. Frozen Orb in Wrath, Chaos Orb now.
They will eventually make them non BoP, as if telling us âYou lowly people can now finally use them as you see fit buwahahaha!â
I have no idea whatâs the actual necessity for making them to be BoP to begin with.

I wanna say i think their idea is that it helps keep crafters a avenue of profit longer but in all reality its just the sweaty guilds that farm em together and feed it to their bs or w.e than they flood the market after they gear up the guildies. Happens every phaseâŚ
They 100% should have just made them BOE.

They will be BOE upon a day, no other change is needed.
And others being âdoneâ with them does not automatically entitle you to a free roll just because you have played less or had worse luck. If others roll need, all should.

And no, I donât care about the randoms who contributed very little all dungeon, why should I let them have a free orb for it? If anyone silently hits need, so do I. This has been the rule even on BOE orbs during Wrath.
Again, you are not more entitled than anyone else. Everyone has professions.
Play more to up your chances. Thatâs it.

Exactly all this system is doing is griefing the people who spents 10s of thousands of gold on professions to get better gear to get stuck with neither the gear or the gold you previously had⌠it makes the profession POINTLESS
