lol this post was so on the nose. Had someone emergency callout after the Rage Winterchill kill. Couldn’t fill with a reserve for BT because they missed the attune kill required.
It’s week 2, why didn’t they go to a pug MH last week?
yep, had several bench folks join gbids or rage winterchill only pugs last week. All set up ahead of time
This is a true problem. The topic is on point. Returning and new players may not be able to attune easily.GDKP no longer runs SSC TK, they may only do End bosses. Guilds no longer run T5 content.
For those that are stuck at the Seer Olum step, it’s not easy to get attuned.
We are having trouble finding resto shaman that are attuned and not much that aren’t. They get snatched up as fast as they are unguilded. Had one leave for a more progressed guild at the end of week 1. The next day we passed them in progression and they are hard stuck. So he’s too proud to admit to his mistake and we are struggling to replace him. Its sooo much fun

I stopped ~mid phase 1 when 9.1 came out. Ran casually. Got Tier 4 set done. Then got bored of course. Moved on with my life.
Haven’t logged in a single time during Phase 2 lel. And no, not Blizzard’s fault of course.

I am on Pagle.
I;ve been logging in for past few days, ran a few heroics. Saw ONE Gruul pug post.
Been spamming for guild daily for hours in chats. Even made a few forum posts, replied to different guild recruitment ads. Nada.
Haven’t seen a single Kara/SSC/KT pug raid. And Pagle, AFAIK, is one of the most pop’d ALliance servers.
It’s rude egoistic self centered people like that’s killing the game.

God. Now they want to get rid of attunements.
“I wont be able to do T6 content 1 week after i come back, please Blizzard fix your game”.
You guys are used to retail catch-up and can’t stand that back then you had to progress throught the expansion to catch-up. Imagine having to play

and clearly, you’re as oblivious as it gets, there is no “play” anymore. No current guild run T5 content anymore. Their raid rosters are full. There is absolutely NO reason for any of them to ever go back. All alts have also been attunded.
But you keep sitting in your bubble.
Also. stop hiding behind an alt.

There are 2-4 T5 GDKP runs on my mid pop server every weeks.
Some guilds are still running T5 content to get some specifics items. If they really want to bring you into the guild they’ll do the effort & get some loot too.
The “remove attunements” is just the lazy way.
Posting on an alt or a main, who care ? It make 0 difference.
All you have to do is hop into a pug it’s not hard you big baby

there’s still a million gdkp SSC/TK runs, still easier to run than BT/Hyjal ones for right now
if they remove them early, should be with ZA. That’s when they removed them and it’s a good half way point and adds more catch up gear

Completely agree. ZA makes total sense.
They happen daily on pagle all the time not sure what you are talking about. Most GDKP’s have set roster of players so its hard to get into the good ones. If you are “Ret” there is your problem. You have horrible gear and zero experience in SSC/TK so people checking logs will ignore you.
GDKP’s expect you to either be buying or to already be geared, they’re not really there to help you get attunes done.
And as much as you want to call it lazy, there’s a reason sunwell had no attune and why blizzard never did any kind of harsh attunes again.

Actually no they do not happen all the time on Pagle. They happen once in awhile, what’s ironic is it was probably easier to pug SSC/TK when it was current than it is now since guilds were filling in their runs.
I mean, other than being a complete carry, if you can’t do TK/SSC you certainly can’t do BT. MH maybe, but again you’ll be a carry for most of it.
My priest is at the Seer Olum part although I did MH clear week 1. I am confident that I can heal BT just fine. The thing that is holding me back is the attunement.
I understand Ssc and Tk are easier. But there is just no PUG / GDKP for those on Whitemane A. People have moved on to the new raids. All GDKPs either transfer or switched to BT MH. Those that had near BIS will raid-log T6.
Assume there are Gdkp Ssc Tk, they may be picky about whom to pick. There are T6 people going for T5 tokens and endboss loot. It will not be easy to join.
The OP is right that new players and returning players will have a very hard time getting attuned. Unless you are on a mega server and has gold to join a Gdkp. It will be based on pure luck that a good PUG would help new players for their attunement
I hope they remove the attunement soon in the next phase.

You don’t need golds to join GDKP. You can be here to “participate” and get your attunement done.
