Wild idea, What if there was a trinket like orb of deception that allowed you to cast an illusion on yourself that worked liked tmog but was a buff and had a cooldown as well as required an item slot to use.
There is tons of trinkets in retail that change your char in varrying cosmetic ways if you want that go to retail.
If your trying to ask for tmog which it sounds like but you really don’t make your end goal clear the answer should be a resounding no.
Tmog is not a tbc feature and should not become one. It’s a feature that massively changes loot dynamics via making select items far more valuebale and wanted while removes one of the flavours of tbc of being able to tell what someone is using at a glance. It usong a item slot means exactly nothing as people use in town without having to equip the items without loss to them but ruining that exact flavour of tbc seeing what people are using at a glance. If someone wants to change how they look in town they should be doing exactly that changing there entire gear set.
People are here to play tbc not tbc with every retail feature you can think of.

No, we’re saying no and your idea is bad for suggesting the exact opposite of what classic is. A version of the game meant to return to the old game as much as possible as such not having such features as tmog. It’s not creative thinking it’s something not only suggested in the past but not added for the exact reason given above it’s a change to a game made to not have as many changes as possible and to be as close to the org as possible not to be retail.
Nothing said here has anything to do with the meta. The stated goal of the game to be kept as close to org as possible is not following the meta it’s following the goal of the game. The meta is created by players the goal of the game is created by the devs there completely different concepts.

Exactly once it is time to come out it should come out. Just like rfd should come out when it’s meant to come out in wrath. Thou debatable if that means start of wrath or mid wrath as in wrath rfd was a mid wrath feature but that’s getting of topic.

Telling you to go to retail if you want tmog is not cliche it is correct. The stated goal of classic is to emulate as much as possible the game how it was. As such tmog has no place within that stated goal and in fact is one of the vary things that go directly adverse to it. As such the only correct answer if you want tmog is to go to retail. That’s not a cliche that’s giving you the correct answer and proper advice.
Asking for a new trinket to be added is the exact definition of asking for a change. It’s asking for something to be added to the game. You can’t add something to the game without changing something. This really shows you lack the basic understanding of what you even are suggesting if you can’t even understand that.
This has everything to do with cata tmog you can’t have something that acts like tmog without it haveing everything to do with cata tmog it kinda by definition in involved to a quite high level in order for you to copy it. But once again you are failing to even understand your own suggestion.
You are suggesting to add tmog to the gain in a way that is mroe limited. That is by definition a change and is by definition suggesting adding tmog to the game and as such has everything to do with cata tmog as can’t add tmog without tmog being referenced.
No. Back then, your look was tied to your character’s legacy. You had to earn it. Walking around with a full set meant you were good. Transmog is not meant for this era.

Yes. He is trying to remove thw stupid arguments against transmog. He knows someone who doesnt even care will see an opportunity to argue and shoot someones idea down.
