System flag Post Removed

I received a message that a post i made was flagged and removed.

I feel this was a mistake and the system was abused, i was accused of “Trolling” which i completely deny, i dont think what ever moderator looked at the post didnt do enough to understand i was being treated unfairly by the OP.

The entire conversation was posted i dont see how i violated any rules, the OP made false claims, id really.like another Mod to look at this post, if possible.

The staff here usually don’t cross moderate or review account actions.

If you disagree with a poster, it would be best not to respond to him no matter what he says, and if you feel they are trolling, report them and go on your merry way.

trolling can fall under several definitions with varying context. Causing argument or disruption and derailing a thread etc etc. Unless you were actually penalised consider it a warning to watch your p’s and q’s

Thats my problem with it, i shouldnt be warned.

I was treated unfairly by the OP, i called him out on it , all the proof was in the convo, but he (or she) started flat out lying , saying they were in contact with me via discord and battle net which was a blatant lie which any one following the convo would know.

This isn’t a court of law. We don’t get to argue our case.

Does it honestly matter? Really? It’s a forum.

Not to you, no, and not sure why you felt the need to comment, since you dont care.

But yes , to me it does.

If this is the post of you causing drama because they decided not to bring you along into their guild, then I can understand why your post is being moderated. Call outs are not permitted via the forums unfortunately. And theres nothing to really call out. Its not worth getting in a twist over. They don’t have to explain themselves and they don’t have to validate heir choice to not have you in their guild. Just move on and find a different guild better suited to your needs.

You shouldn’t even done that. What you SHOULD have done is nothing and not responded to the baiting.

Ok so its ok for eveyone else to comment here, clearly who think im wrong.

But me doing that is uncalled for?

And this makes sense, i litterally did the same thing youre doing right now.

okay, you are getting a bit “snappy”.

Just so you know the forums are not staffed staffed 24/7 by the SFAs, and they probably won’t be here til Monday morning. Arguing here will not change anything.

Thanks, dont mean to sound “hostile” was actually looking for Customer Service.

For the record, nobody has called you out in this thread. Nobody here (in the CS forum) has made a thread directed at you for the sole purpose of calling you out.

Welcome to the customer support forum, a player help player forum.

Thanks, but youre not providing me with the help i am seeking, have a good evening.

These are a player supported help forums. If you want customer service, you submit a ticket. Which is what you should have done in the first place.

It’s not gonna change anything though.

Thank you,

Thank you , ill take that into consideration.

Then report for trolling and do not respond.

The problem here is there is no context. Was the reported post in violation. Yes or no? Context is irrelevant

Do not let these people suck you down into a fight like that. Itnis what they want so they can flag you. I know it is much harder than it sounds, however.

I am assuming since you are posting here it was just removed and not actioned. As mentioned above, take it as a warning and learn from it.

We have all been there. We have all had to weigh our response at one time or other. Don’t give them the power and let them win.

You can appeal, as always, and get a second opinion. The system cannot be abused, though, as a moderator always reviews the reported post. Context is generally irrelevant, the decision of whether a rule was broken is strictly binary, no grey.

Not sold on the usefulness of appealing a deleted forum post. If the post was deleted and the player wasn’t silenced, there’s no penalty to overturn. And deleted posts cannot be restored.

Yep. I had a girl who used to work for me who had the need to respond to everything. She’s a great advocate working on your behalf, but in a game forum, simply reporting really is best. We don’t always agree with what the blues choose or refuse to moderate. But our part in that role is clicking the report button if we feel a post is inappropriate. Then the mod team will deal with it however they see fit.

I can’t say I agree with this part, though. A disagreement is simply a basis for discussion. Only when it escalates to inappropriate commentary would I suggest that you decline to respond. I think that may be what you meant, but I thought it worth clarifying.

Pretty sure that is what TT meant
