Sylvanas Windrunner FULL Cosmetic set in Diablo 4 in-game Store, NOT in WoW

@Blizzard

How are you going to have Diablo 4 have the cosmetic set for the Dark Ranger General’s Kit within the Diablo 4 in-game store and NOT have it in WoW since PTR build 10.2.5???

Additionally, the “Warcraft Legends” are also:

  • Varian Wyrnn
  • Kael’thas Sunstrider
  • Xavius
  • Xla’atath

insert Mr. Krabs meme. “Money”

That’s why.

They know us wow players will eat whatever slop they give us no matter how much we complain and thank them when they spit in out mouths.

Though it looks like those are in game of wow models so… I’m confused? Is the requirement to get them buying stuff in D4?

They look really good, too…but $25 for D4 mogs is still way to much, even for these. (Smoke is animated, sort of looks weird in the screenshot)

Except this one…not a fan of this one…(mainly because of how druids look.)

Because that’s how crossovers work? It’s generally not too common to put major character armor sets in their own game because then it looks weird having a bunch of lookalikes around towns and such.

I’m of the theory that it’ll be the 24 month Trading Post achievement reward.

I think they are just desperate to get d4 new players. It got utterly smashed in its arena so they wanna go for crossover money. Why it had frostmoune in it.

The Sylvanas cosmetic is REALLY nice too. I didn’t bend the knee buying it. I was just disappointed Diablo 4 has the cosmetic in the game before WoW.

Understandably, Diablo is a Blizzard game as well, but to have a non-Diablo character cosmetic when the Dark Ranger General’s Kit was added to the PTR and never released LIVE is just astounding to the WoW players.

As much as I dislike Asmongold, his “gIVe Dollar” D4 thumbnail was such an incredible spot-on banger.

There was a Sylvanas outfit for WoW datamined. I think they are waiting for the appropriate time to release it.

They didn’t do the shoulder pads for the Kael outfit justice.

My son got a copy with his xbox, so I bought a copy for my pc to play with him.

Have to say I am not a fan. Everything cool requires platinum and it appears the only way to get it is to buy it.

I don’t like that.

They need to get some of those Diablo 4 graphic artists to come over to WoW to make some armor sets. They look really great.

If you’re a WoW AH goblin, you can always get platinum with WoW gold (buy tokens, convert to BNet balance, buy platinum).

But I tend to ignore that kind of stuff anyway. The top down graphics style makes cosmetics pointless other than the inventory and character select screens.

But yeah, it’s shocking how much they charge for sets you can barely see most of the time.

I bought D4, played for 90 minutes, asked for a refund, was denied. Not a fan of the gameplay.

I caved and bought under peer pressure as thats what everyone was playing the week it came out and then interest completely dissipated after a week.

I had loved Diablo 1 through 3 and expected it to be the same.

Not 100% sure what it is, but 4 just didn’t feel like Diablo. Coupled with the cash-grab platinum thing and I lost interest before I got too far.

Hadn’t thought of using Wow gold to buy things admittedly.

Partly, but I think it’s also a case of “we have an excuse to do it with WoW’s 20th anniversary in a few months.”

I expect the next Overwatch 2 season (rather, the one following the season starting in like a week) will probably have some WoW stuff in there as well.

It’s been since 10.2.5 PTR patch that the Ensemble: Dark Ranger General’s Kit was introduced. We’re now in pre-patch for TWW. They had PLENTY of time to release it since then.

They likely have it planned for something. The 20th Anniversary is in November.

Oh neat, it doesn’t have the belly covered up.

Fingers crossed that and many other Ensembles alike are for October during Halloween event/season. :+1:
