The current voice actress makes her come off as an annoying old hag that nobody likes having around!
Agreed, I enjoyed her interview this blizzcon.

I was unsubbed for the entirety of WOD and about 3/4s of Legion so by the time that trailer dropped I was just “Oh damn my Warchief needs me”
Yeaaaaaaaaaaah you can imagine how I felt when they revealed the whole spiel about her later with BfA and how she really sees the Horde
To be fair Anduins moment before his war cry was more emotional. Just “Aw cmon you got this just listen to your dad. He’s always there.”

The way that anduin closed himself in with saurfang was pretty spectacular, I liked how they interacted. I’m a pretty casual player and dont really follow the lore so much as the gameplay, however I thought the two of them were pretty close to closing the gap between the factions
My accent allows me to imitate her voice really well without modulation. Then again my teacher in school always did tell me to articulate better and I never did.

It’s like how the voice actor for Reaper in overwatch can do the voice mostly by himself with only a tiny bit of modulation

Oh, man, CR…they’re back this week but I went full ham on watching the first campaign so I could watch campaign 2 live. Took me…8 months. WORTH.
I forgot about Gideon Emery. He is pretty fantastic, except the odd few lines in Naz’jatar they left super high pitch.
Yeah that was odd. But yeah ever since he voiced Fenris in Dragon Age 2 I’ve been a fan. ( I may have romanced anders but shush Fenris was awesome )
Anytime I hear that voice pop up in games or other media I get mad hyped
I used to watch CR season 2 up until 30 episodes and I fell off the wagon and lost momentum in keeping up with the series.
Sylvanas and Garrosh both have excelent voice actors!
Oh wait, I shouldn’t have said that… “HORDE HAVE ALL THE FAVORITiSM” comments incomming!!! Protect yourselves!!!

Not even close. Rastakhan, Talanji, Rokhan has better voice actors that transmits more emotion than Patty

I think Sylvanas’s voice has gotten worse over time. The seductiveness has been traded for something much more shrill to my ear. ETA: Not sure if that’s just the evolution of Patty’s voice or something done intentionally.
On the Horde side, Bwonsamdi, Rastakhan, and Talanji are great IMO.
I still love Laura Post and could listen to her reading lines for Azshara and Shademaster Kiryn all day.

No, no you can say that. The Horde has absolutely amazing voice actors all around. I definitely don’t think it’s favoritism, either.
They bring the characters to life and give them a personality that you love, hate, or love to hate, and that’s awesome no matter what faction is your preferred one.
(P.S. I really liked Garrosh’s Voice Actor, he did an amazing job with the character.)

I was so surprised to find out that his voice actor is the same actor who played Master Bra’tac in Stargate SG-1. I knew that he had a familiar voice, but I just couldn’t place it at first.
