Sylvanas redemption isn't crazy

At this stage, I couldn’t care less if she was eaten by Murlocs.

Syl needs to go back to wearing her bikini outfits like few years back

They died because they overextended. Why wouldn’t she put their bodies to use somehow?

She didn’t even do that at all. She literally imprisoned them just because their leader did something.

And also, Veressa has you kill shopkeepers in those quests.

o.O Um Illidan is not part of the Alliance.

She didn’t do anything wrong considering the BEs were indirectly responsible for Theramore getting nuked.

I think a living Sylvanas tortured by the things she did in undeath would be an interesting move forward for her. I remember making a Death Knight and walking into Stormwind. She would find herself in the opposite situation.

She also just ported them out of the city with the Old Dalaran portal so they were all fine.

Jaina committed one war crime as her mental state finally shattered after years upon years of trauma. Doesn’t make it right, but…

Sylvanas’ crimes are innumerable. Massacring the Gilneans. Burning Teldrassil. Plague bombing Gilneas. Executing those who speak against her. Torture and attempted enslavement of Derek Proudmoore (and no, he was not an enemy, he was a corpse at the bottom of the ocean for 20+ years). Slaughtering her own people in Arathi, even those still loyal to her. Attempted enslavement of the Val’kyr. Enslavement of the Night Elves raised at Darkshore. Torture. Living experimentation. The literal concentration camp in Hillsbrad. Should I go on?

The Blood Elves were warned another infraction would result in their banishment, plus the developers are on record saying Jaina personally killing Sunreavers and Blood Elf citizens is a bug. As for Sylvanas, she has never once shown an ounce of remorse, not even compared to someone like Garrosh, who killed a general for slaughtering escaping innocents and sent his second in command to make sure Sylvanas wouldn’t use Blight on Gilneas…which she then proceeded to do, lying to Garrosh and using an unsanctioned weapon of utter destruction. Sylvanas has never shown mercy to anyone…why should SHE receive it in turn?

Excuse you, the only god of Death I acknowledge is my neighbor Bwonsamdi…

It makes no sense and would be awful writing.

But with 2 badly written expacs now guess it’s not shocking.

Comparing Jaina to Sylvanas is so hilariously disingenuous I can’t even fathom it.

Sylvanas committed genocide. Even the invasion and plaguing of Gilneas wasn’t described with such a heavy term.
Any redemption is garbage writing but that’s not really a new thing for Blizzard.

Jaina should have just yeeted all the Sunreavers straight off the edge of Dalaran

Blood Elf players will whine about anything might as well give them something to actually cry about

Killing her is also boring and predictable, allianc Plot armour.

Goes both ways.

Killing her is also garbage writing.

Jaina is strong complex character voiced by Laura Bailey, if you think she’s evil you should listen to Daughter of the Sea, the song is very good.

It isn’t though?

It certainly wouldn’t be the most incredible writing, but killing monsters is pretty standard.

But there’s so many fitting ways to end her! They could: turn her into a tortured soul amalgam abomination or forge her into a Maw weapon like the Night Elf souls were, Blight her into oblivion, disintegrate her with Light (burning like Teldrassil), etc…

Redemption arcs are pretty standard.

rumour has it she replaces the jailer and will torment souls that enter the maw all her remaining life by her own choice

Not for genocidal monsters who willingly work with the literal devil.

You seem to be going for a contrarian thing here.
