Arthas never killed her he didn’t want to give her that satisfaction so he fragmented her soul. If she was undead wouldent she look you know undead and not a dark elf?

I’m not sure if Silvanas will rejoin her sisters on the Alliance or remain Horde and be the canon reason for why High Elves are returning to Quel’thalas. What I do expect however is that we will soon see a resurfacing of Vereesa. I’m not sure if it will be just her or her and the Silver Covenant. I just believe that do to that short story where she tried to free the good part of her sisters soul from the Jailor. Now that her sister is whole again I think that she might be one that stands up for her. Mind you this is just my personal speculation.

Just in case, yeah Arthas super killed her. She was literally a disembodied ghost for a while until she re-possessed her own corpse. She’s an undead banshee.

Even then it wouldn’t make sense for Sylvanas to join the alliance after all the murder she had done to the Alliance like the Silver Covenant, Teldrassil, Stormwind/Lordaeron Remaining Humans, Kul’tiras, Gilneas and Genn’s Son, and etc.
Plus I don’t think that will be a great way to have High Elves so…

I hate to say it but even players don’t want to join the Alliance why would a Horde boss? More than that why would devs give her to Alliance when they are Horde supporters and not Alliance. I could go on and on but really, this is unlikely for so many reasons.

Noooooooo, that’s silly. Sometimes a girl’s body just vanishes and leaves behind a vengeful, screeching spirit during certain moments in the year. She’s just going on 20 years of it being that time.
It was WoWHead’s April Fools joke. Which makes it even funnier to me that they made the model as a joke yet it could be a reality for us. Really points out the quality of the writing, imo.
