I really do hope so, and that we could see High Elves come in to play. But what race would Horde get? (Obviously the elephant in the room for Horde is ogre). But I just don’t understand necessarily? Been trying to clear things up. Sylvanas will be the theme of 9.2 i’m already calling it. But like High Elves really aren’t different than Void Elves, (Ok, maybe except for the hair). I’m trying to make sense of the story line, and I just can’t, can someone clear this up?

Sylvanas is not going back to the Alliance. Remember Teldrassil?
Look, she’s not getting a redemption. If you look at other characters who’ve had their souls fragmented, like Uther, they still take responsibility and pin the blame on their mistakes on themselves. Sylvanas’ actions won’t be absolved now that she has her entire soul back.
And no she’s not a High Elf she’s still undead. Just like every other Forsaken.

Ok I understand that I suppose. But Tyrande maybe get’s cured? (I believe there was a ritual cutscene. And maybe Alleria can talk her into it. Plus Vereesa won’t forgive the Horde. I mean maybe she turns into a Night Elf out of total surprise.
Also would like to point out, what is this?
And in Warbringers she had blue eyes…
The story doesn’t even remember Teldrassil.

You don’t just get “cured” of hate towards the person who destroyed your civilization.
Either:

She got her blue eyes back. Just like normal forsaken who actually have options to use their normal eye colors instead of the glowing eyes as of Shadowlands.

She just got her soul back so it’s just reacting to her body.

And that would be a sad ending. But I think that Anduin’s going to die anyway…so who’s up to the plate for Alliance?
I don’t want Anduin to die, even though I don’t like him. Anduin got a raw deal in this story too

Then what’s the Alliance next step?
Just because Sylvanas got her soul back that doesn’t mean she’s stopped being undead. She isn’t magically a high elf again. Best case for her is probably either dying taking out Zovaal or ending up imprisoned/therapy for the rest of her days.
I don’t think she’s going to be leading any races anytime soon. (Maaaaybe forsaken, but that’s a long shot.)

To be honest. The storyline is disjointed as the Jerry Springer Show lol.
The movie “Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” (which I really like) made more sense than the story in this expansion. Just sayin…

With the jailer giving her soul back and releasing the Banshee isn’t she alive again technically? It seemed to me as they hinted at Blue eyes which screams High Elf to me. Which is former self before Arthas forsaken her with a curse.
