Yeah I don’t think even if that definition is accurate that it applies to civilians. Soldiers choose to fight and die for their country, civilians don’t. They should never be a target to force a war to end.
Of course I wouldn’t. But this is a video game. No one is actually dying. There is no actual, real genocide going on here.
It’s just pixels.
The only people who like Sylvanas want to #@&% her. Prove me wrong.
She’s a one-dimensional, comically evil character who brings absolutely nothing to the game except mustache twirling and boobs. Her fanboys write paragraphs upon paragraphs to give their undying love validation, but that’s truly all there is to it.
It’s just a game y’all. Don’t try to explain your fondness for a murderous zombie psychopath. It is what it is.
I’m not into women.
But you wouldn’t approve of her actions in real life which is 100% reasonable. My post was geared towards the fanboys who constantly use pseudo-logic to defend their waifu and believe her incapable of doing wrong. Their support is blind and obsessive.
Go whine on GD or reddit about Sylv fanboys. Majority of people here on SF like Sylvanas beyond her being a pretty Elf lady.
I suppose she might have fans that are necrofiliacs, but I seriously doubt that comprises a significant portion of her fanbase.
IRL during the medieval time period?
She’d be one of the nicest, lawful good, and kind-hearted leaders in the entire world.
She’s already better than most Popes.
Man, questions like these… Lol.
Of course not, man, I’d be scared AF of Sylvanas if she were real, but in real life I certainly also wouldn’t approve of Saurfang and Bane’s stupidity. They’re not being honorable, either. They’re traitors, at least Sylvanas is honest about what she’s doing.
But anyway, this is why I’m glad we have democracies, so leaders can’t do stupid crap over and over. Ideally.
Good to see I can get some mileage out of this.
I smell something…
Oh, its the bait in this thread.
If an Undead Banshee High Elf thing suddenly came to power and zombiefied people, and unleashed blight, and burned a world tree that was suddenly always there… In Real Life … That would be something.
If Sylvanas sat down and explained to me that she is invading Earth beacuse the Governments on Earth had repeatedly attempted to assassinate her and her predecessors who served as Warchief, have broken treaties, and burned Vulpera Caravans - I would tell her:
Me: “Well. The leaders of Earth can be treacherous and vile. They have started wars amongst themselves for assassination attempts and broken treaties. Whether I approve or not, Sylvanas - your violent ruthless tactics will fit right in on Earth!”
You know one thing I CAN say to this thread’s credit, though? If orcs actually existed and were invading the Earth a la WC1 I’d honestly probably throw myself at them. I mean, granted a few criteria were met. Let me paint you a picture:
The world/human nation is being invaded by a race of hulking green monsters who wear fangs and pelts and swing axes around. Let’s say, rather than was the case in WC1, they WEREN’T straight-up evil, mind-controlled and bloodthirsty, and this was just an invasion scenario where they were occupying enemy territory to expand their own. No salted earth or genocide type stuff, humans could live with them but they were just taking over the culture and resources.
In that real-life scenario, I would honestly just drop all my weapons and armor and throw myself at the nearest chieftain. Not out of cowardice, I just honestly think if those beautiful doe-eyed gentle-handed orcs from the Warcraft movie existed IRL I’d never be attracted to another human ever again. Think of the shoulder massages hands like that could give.
Yeah, that’s the one fictional preference I’d be willing to let transfer to IRL.
we genocide things on a daily basis.
If your family and children were on a dying planet, would you kill people on another planet to make a new home, or let everyone you love die of starvation?
Humans are an invasive and genocidal species. It would be in our nature.
In real life, ethics and morality play a distant back seat to poltiical and tactical advantage.
Bro, I’m just talking about if orcs existed IRL and weren’t gonna kill me on sight I would join the nearest warchief harem.
