I’m all for hearing both sides of the story, but the longer he goes on without responding to it doesn’t really help his case imo. I feel like if I were accused of something untrue, I’d be pretty quick to respond and call it out as BS. But suddenly disappearing off the face of the earth for days without saying anything isn’t a great look though tbh. Maybe some parts are true and some aren’t though, who knows.

But you are persecuting someone when you have no evidence that they actually did anything wrong other than someone said they did.
Until they are charged and convicted of something, they should not be punished for that thing.

See, you open yourself up to misinterpreting things when you make blanket statements like that.
Everyone’s pretty much saying that “innocent until proven guilty” should be taken into consideration before you punish the accused. What you’re saying implies that you’ve already presumed guilt.
Accusations should be taken very seriously and should be followed up on. No one’s saying accusers shouldn’t be taken seriously enough to warrant investigation.

True. But at the same time, many sexual assault victims aren’t left with any evidence. Are you saying if they don’t have texts, pictures or videos that their stories shouldn’t be heard? Some abusers take over everything in a victims life making it impossible to keep evidence. It’s a really tough situation for all.

The fact we have to even discuss the “guilty until proven innocent” and defend it is absurd. It should just be common sense. Unless evidence is presented against the accused, the person/persons accused are innocent until proven otherwise. End of story.

This is true, although I feel like he could still say at least something, even if it were vague and not going into any detail. I don’t know much about the legality of this all though, I guess I’m mostly just speaking in terms of the “court” of public opinion.
They don’t care. Have you seen the statistics? I’m sorry to be the one to tell you this, but there are hundreds of thousands of untested rape kits, police shrug off victims or blame them, ask them what they were wearing; they don’t even want to go through the work of taking the report. Ask any woman you know who’s tried to report, I’m serious. They will tell you it didn’t work. Police are useless, especially for things like abuse.

After carefully examining the facts and the rumors. I have thought long and hard about the NPC removal. On one hand its quick to judge on another it can be put back as quickly as it was removed. I have weighed all of this in my mind and I have come to the undeniable conclusion that I dont give a bleep.

Sure. The evidence is two people have stories that line up and that’s good enough for me.
I do, actually, and I understand mob mentality. Bad PR for a game company because they kept a in-game avatar of Swifty would appear unfavorable. However, these allegations are hearsay until he is proven guilty. If these accusers were so concerned with being wronged why use Twitter? Go to your local authorities and open a case.

Remember Projared? Remember that mess? Turns out the only thing he was guilty of was sending sausage pics. Gross, but not kiddy diddling. He was dragged through the mud, but kept his receipts. And the guy is a total tool, but he wasn’t guilty.
Wait until the WHOLE story comes out. Don’t assume guilt. It makes you a crappy person.

And I hate to tell you, but going to Twitter doesn’t solve it either. Going to your local authorities is the best thing you can do, not tweet about it and let the public judge someone who may very well be innocent.
