As a mage in vanilla. Really should add this or least cap it at 5-10g. Litteraly have to respec constantly. Someone had stack that winters chill. Then switch back to arcane power spec. When ZG comes it’s even worse. Now it’s back and forth from frost to fire. If it’s 50g every time in vanilla. Mage is out for me lol
I mean you don’t actually have to respec that much as a mage if you are just raiding. If you want to be optimal in both pve and pvp then yeah you will respec a lot. Otherwise the times you are going to respec in pve shouldn’t be enough to even hit 50g unless you keep choosing to change it.

Some pserver have gone the 5g route. It was a hot topic about a year ago stating 5g destroys the economy. I’ll let Blizzard decide the economic math
And if doing AQ and BWL in same week? If PvP forget it hit that cap so quick lol
thats why you level as a dps spec. all hybrids can heal dungeon runs while they are dps specced.

The biggest server right now has 25g caps and its peaks are 4-5 higher than the other server.
If you’re talking about K3, that server also has queueing for BGs from anywhere in the world, much like retail does.
BWL is phase one and AQ isn’t until phase two. If you are in a guild that is pushing content you will be pretty much be done with BWL unless your guild for some reason still needs to go back and get some stuff. If you are min/maxing AQ chances are you won’t be going to BWL anymore.
Listen Closely… If you are not a raider, and I mean a Raider. Like you show up every night on a set schedule trying to progress with your guild every week. Then this is a non issue for you. You have no real reason to respeccing often at all. There’s no reason to at lvl 60. UNLESS you raid…

Those of us that have the odd desire to level with healing talents want to be seriously loved for our awesomeness. Shadow isn’t really all that great anyway.
Otherwise on the topic, I have healed dungeons on a druid alt with a balance spec in the BC time frame. It just involved a lot of drinking between pulls. Any hydrid can heal a leveling dungeon. Wear your intellect gear and come prepared with a bunch of water (or bring a mage).

I too enjoyed 3.1 duel spec.
Just like how I enjoyed every other QoL.
Not knowing how it really effected the game.
I say no changes. We had a way to deal with specing. Mess up your spec you had to deal with the consequences. Another example is people trying to find a spec that works well for both raiding and pvp so they would not have to change.

Im not gonna be trying to respec tank, dps, and heals, or pvp all on one character. I am pretty much going to have an alt if i want to swap pretty regularly.
