Hey Market-peeps!

Do you love Weekly Market but want to visit some exotic locations? Maybe you love RP but are interested in trying your hand at (or just spectating) some PvP action?

Jarltor is hosting a social-PvP public event called ‘Crucible of Might’ at which us lovely SW Weekly Market folks will be setting up to sell our wares in chilly Northrend! (Think mini-Tournament of Ages type thing.)

EVENT: [A] ‘Crucible of Might’ <a social and PvP; 2-day event>
HOST: Jarltor
WHEN: Thursday, Feb 21st 7:30 PM -and- Friday, Feb 22nd, 7:30 PM
WHERE: Jotunheim, Ice Crown (western end of zone), Northrend
WHAT: A 2-day event for training newer RPers and PvPers in combat. Training day 1, and Tournament day 2 with prizes. Plus, a public market.

Technically, Lunar Fest-themed. BUT! You will very likely find a mix of both holidays since they overlap today a bit. :wink:

But yes! Tonight is the Weekly Market, folks. Remember, it will be at the HARBOR OVERLOOK (just past the tunnel coming from the transmog area).

I’ve always been interested in this weekly event, it looks like a lot of fun! Also, a good fit for my character, who is ICly a craftsman of magical merchandise.

Damn you social anxieties and general paranoia! ;_;

No need to be nervous! All of the Market folk are very friendly and help one another.

I bet, if you’re nervous to start selling on your own at first, poking one of the other craftsmen who sell and asking to ‘share’ their booth for a week to sell your things alongside them would be met with a resounding ‘Sure!’ :wink:

OFFICIAL LOCATION CHANGE !!

It has been decided that the SW Weekly Market will be permanently moved to the Harbor Overlook location. All vendors, security, and even shoppers have agreed that the more spacious location with the seaside view is a better atmosphere for this weekly event.

So there you go! Please help spread the word. :wink:

I have a question: If you want to set up a booth, do you just find an empty space or is there a more formal application (either IC or OOC) that you have to go through?

If you want to set up a booth, simply come, find a reasonably empty spot, and get started!

If you want, give it a try a week and see if you like it. Then, if you want to become a regular vendor, whisper Mailang, Mirrielyanna, or Greáves in-game at the market and we’ll give you the discord for it (which we ask all serious vendors for Market to join for organization purposes). :wink:

^That part is OOC, by the way. As ICly, it’s really a pop-up farmer’s market type setup.
